    All these Amico and Intellivision people always out on trips.... what gives!

    I am always stuck at work... working.

    Ah I know... because I grew up Magnavox Odyssey 2 while all the rest of you lot were rich and used Intellivision...

    Only beach I see is the sandbox out in the backyard and the local cats just use that as a literbox.

    I need to buy my 1st old Intellivision so I can vacation like the rest of you all.

    My real name is Thomas Andrew Tallarico.  Everyone called me Tommy growing up and I never let it go.  When my parents would get made they would typically yell TOM!!!!  That's when I knew I was in trouble.  But at school (all Catholic school from K to 12) the nuns would call me Thomas.  And I was typically always in trouble.   :)

     

    FUN FACT:  The very first game I ever did the music for was the original Prince of Persia.  It came out in 1991 (I was a game tester before that).  In the opening credits I was listed as Tom Tallarico (Music by...) no idea why they put me in as Tom... but I was so new and it was my first music credit that I didn't want to complain or seem ungrateful.  :) The first and only time I was credited as Tom.

     

     

     

    We moved from Rhode Island to NorCal when I was 7 so here I just had to do Catholic School to 8th grade... 

    I for sure was NOT Alter Boy material.  haha

    Yeh my mom would yell my full name... Thomas John Ferreira... get your ass in here!

    Ah those were the days.  

    Now my wife just yells at me instead.  Go figure!

    Although an AmicoSanta game just in time for the holiday season is a good idea.

    AmicoSanta racing towards chimneys before Christmas is over throwing... err I mean gently slipping an Amico under all the good little kiddies Christmas trees.   

    And for the bad kiddies.... an 2020 edition Atari VCS.... I ran out of coal so improvised.

    Interesting stats GrudgeQ.

     

    Yeh my channel started with adding Amico coverage December 27th 2019 when I did my 1st one.  That video is up to 957 views now so did nicely.  All the rest going nicely and should continue that trend.

     

    My YT channel is mostly folks for Sinclair platform is my guess with some from some of the other platforms I create videos for like Atari, Odyssey 2, etc... and now Amico too.

     

    I have made 6 Amico related videos since Dec 27th... and would think I have a few Intellivision fans now as members on my channel which is nice.

     

    Funny note... most my videos for Sinclair and other platforms are steady at 100% like to dislike... once in a while down in the 90 % arena... but always very positive. Funny most all the Amico are in the upper 80s or lower 90s.. so there seems to be a couple always marking dislike... which I find funny.  There are some that just hate on most anything and just dislike because... I am sure some may not like the actual video but when the same Amico are always a couple dislikes while others non Amico are 100% most the time... kind of tells me there are a few haters out there.  Oh well... such is life.

     

    I do these for fun anyway and hoping what I do brings extra eyes on what Intellivision is up to and maybe a few more will buy one some day.

    Just curious... since @Tommy Tallarico mentioned that the issues over in China with the virus is affecting everyone, including Intellivision too, for when Amico will ship... my question is... with the 1st showing of Amico at E3, will this possibly mean we will not see Amico at E3 then?  Or, is there enough in place already for a handful of Amico to be made in time so we can still see it in all it's glory come E3.

    We're super excited about getting our controller into peoples' hands.  The simplicity of the disc design (and how powerful it is as a directional) is way under appreciated by the folks who have never used it.

    Non-gamers and casuals MUCH prefer the disc over analog sticks, joysticks and traditional d-pads.  Fact... backed up by data and research.  :)

     

     

    Yeh can't wait to have a Amico controller so I can learn to hold it the correct direction for this old Atari stick user.  ;-)

    Yeh, you should see me trying to hold my Aquarius controller.  This "atari" joystick guy has LOTS to learn... and I will admit it.

     

    Admitting it shows my 1st steps to my reconditioning to Intellivision-ness.  hahahaha
