Hi! I would like to invite all of you to visit my re-booted page, "Upcoming & New 8 bit Games" . I started it couple days ago. My plan is to provide fresh news about new productions, sometimes with detailed description, hardware specification etc.I wish also to focus on other aspects of retro computing ( like scene, size coding etc. )and also on promoting retro computing. It would be great to build a group of readers that would contribute with comments and maybe articles as well. I would be happy to hear what are your imressions, and maybe suggestions. Cheers, gorgh.

playpower and bunch of similar nes hardware emulators are based on a special chip that was designed to emulate NES to make use of cheap carts that floaded the market. Even Atari Flashback is based afaik on the very same chip. Making a cheap substitute of Atari computer would require a lot of work and money spent on designing such piece of hardware.

yeah, my mistake, i ment atari productions, i didnt track demoscene in the first few months, anyway, 15 shades of grey is pretty innovative, i liked the mirror effect on the face of a lady in rubber mask

I see, so I've learned that there are different types of gamers, i'm rather "little this one, little that one" kind of gamer.

what i meant was simply running any new atari game for entertainment, i know that there are titles that absorb attention of the players for a week or so, but this poll aim in general view, homebrew gaming as it is, i didn't specify also that the poll aplies only to one game, but to whole bunch of new games that are released every year. I know that among Atarians there are people who tend to favourite old, classic games, therefore i splitted the category. I'm a game developer myslef, and was just wondering how wide "audience" is out there when it comes to new productions. I'll post the results for 2 weeks. thanks again.

those are the names of the songs, if it comes to artist my favourites are Michal "miker" Szpilowski, Lukasz "X-Ray" Sychowicz , Marcin "Cedyn" Czartynski and Piotr"Tatqoo(samurai)" Swierszcz all of their songs are good. It happens to be that i'm currently playing some demos, please check out Ultra, Recall, Forsaken Love, Numen, Pure, Komary , reditus..
