  1. Thanks for the positive feedback, I really had fun shooting that video, it felt good playing Parsec again.
  2. Here I show the 8 classic Texas Instruments TI-99/4A games Parsec, Alpiner, Star Trek, M*A*S*H, Microsurgeon, Moon Mine, Fathom and Buck Rogers. All those games on cartridge work on unexpanded TI-99 computers, but also support the optional speech synthesizer.
  3. It is still on my list to show also that phantastic cartridge, at least to give some quick overview as people don´t expect super detailed tutorials on my channel. It will happen, but I don´t know when. I am still in the "learning phase" with my TI 99, as I only had an unexpanded computer back in the days, so I don´t fully understand all the bells and whistles of that cartridge yet. I also have my hopes that one day on the new "Omega TI" Youtube channel there will be a more detailed tutorial video about that cartridge.
  4. Funny, I am sitting here in front of my computer and currently working on a video about old classic TI 99 speech synthesizer games and when I saw the post from Rasmus I thought that maybe I will show that together with Sabre Wulf at some point.
  5. How could it happen I didn´t see this thread? Jet Set Willy for the TI 99, that´s amazing! Thanks Rasmus that you also uploaded a Jet Set Willy video on Youtube so that I found out about this.
  6. This here is "AtariAge" and 2004 is pretty modern then I guess, at least for my taste. I found the idea of the dragon quest game funny that you have a memory card in form of a tiny book.
  7. Actually it turned out to be much better than I expected it to be.
  8. I thought I will show “The Lord of the Rings – Warrior of Middle-Earth” Plug & Play TV game on video as it is pretty unique in my opinion. This was made by Tiger in 2004 and I would say that this is one of the better Plug & Play systems in my collection:
  9. I guess Dragon´s Lair is out because of memory constraints of the cartridge and not so much because of the graphics resolution. If it can run on a Sinclair ZX 81 in a small window there should be a chance that it would work also on the Lynx.
  10. Putting the battery pack on the controller was a bad design decision. As the Virtual Boy is not really that portable most people will use the AC adpater anyway and even then that adapter was huge without any good reason. SInce I have modded my controller with a power plug for an AC adapter I have to say I find the controller quite good for what it is without any clunky battery compartments or adapters. For the Virtual Boy you also need a desk in the proper height to play it and one of those adustable office chairs is also helpful, that is basically the same when using a mircoscope. When you have that and your eyes are OK you can play that thing for hours without any issues. Nintendo planned an adjustable stand where you can set the height also, but that never came out. I also have one of those US store kiosks and there it is a bit easier to adjust the height and angle.
  11. Unfortunately my modded Virtual Boy has only VGA RGB out for one channel, so no 3D there. But at least it is possible that some other people can watch gameplay on a monitor.
  12. The Virtual Boy does have a crap controller? Just curious, what aspect of the controller didn´t you like? I also don´t feel any pain playing the Virtual Boy, but I guess that´s the case because my eyes are fine and I can also watch 3D movies or play the 3DS without any issues. Only thing is if you don´t like the color red very much, you are out of luck.
  13. I did not get it yet, I only know that the Mateos cart for the Vectrex works also on Windows 8.1, so I hope it will be the case for Lynx version as well.
  14. I will tell her, so maybe she will come back for another episode.
  15. I thought that maybe some of you would like to see the GCE Arcade-Time Watch from 1982 in action:
  16. I guess it would have even sold for much more if the seller would have been smart enough to ship worldwide. It is very cool, but the community for it will be extremly small I guess.
  17. Got mine today and will show it on my channel in more detail at some point, when there will be a time slot for Lynx homebrews. I also got the Bonuscard, but I ordered quite early and asked for that before it was even communicated there will be even a bonus card.
  18. As far as I know both the game and bonus cart were more or less always available for years as long as you contacted them directly through the e-mail address on their web page. I guess many people just didn´t know, so they ordered it now and of course it is always nice to have now a box that looks close to original Lynx boxes.
  19. Looks interesting, never heard about that game before, only saw that you could once get it from "Good Deal Games", so I can only guess it is a full game.
  20. I think I used PayPal if I remember correctly, but why is that important?
  21. I got the email but not the cartridges yet.
  22. Yust in case you want to see that nice piece of hardware in action:
  23. I can only guess the previous owner wanted to get rid of some mains hum or RF noise or something like that.
  24. Would be interesting to know if that streaming thing also works on the NanoPEB for the TI99, like it does on the ZXPand.
