Was looking for the latest as well. I don't know what that lynximage.zip is for. Thought it was for the preview images, but I guess it needs the latest menu version.
Also would like some basic installation information unless it's enough to copy all to the root and obvious places.
Otherwise I'm just glad I got it now. Been waiting forever. And the wait was worth it. Thanks SainT!! (and GadgetUK for contributions) =)
Yes you take the latest menu version 1.6 from here http://atariage.com/forums/topic/253167-retro-hq-sd-cart-menu-14/and also GedgetUK´s files from there, put it on the SD card in the root directory (the preview files are in _preview then) and then you see the preview pictures as shown in the video here starting around 8:50:

I have not seen them in person, I only heard that they should look good and if they are the same quality as the Sinclair ZX Spectrum faceplates or ZX 81 replacement repro keyboards it should be all fine I guess.
-
I guess you mean the controller fascia / overlay? I only know those from Rich / RWAP Software, that´s the same gentleman that sells replacement keyboard membranes and other stuff for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum on his "SellMyRetro" platform. You can get a MB and GCE version, no Japanese Bandai version so far, here the GCE US version:
I guess you can also buy the same product slightly more expensive over eBay from him.

Is there any left? I'm interested! Please let me know.
Too late, they are all gone, I just bought the last 10 remaining ones...
Just kidding of course, the game will be released soon I guess:

Thanks for the fix, it was quite easy to open my cartridge case and glue it back on using superglue again.

I have a Lotharek drive as DSK 1 & 3 (could not get it working as 1 & 2) and a Sony 3,5" disk drive as DSK 2. I have taken the Sony drive just beause it was cheap, easy to find and I had the space in my PEB.
I did the 80 track TI controller mod with 80 tracks for all 3 drives.
No external drive so far.

Thanks for the updates guys! Preview working great and you also can hide all the system files and folders from the menu.

I had so many retro computer and retro gaming related devices that screamed for 3D printed cases, but they usually never showed up. And when they did, they were ugly as hell, expensive, or didn´t really fit that well.
Well let´s hope that here it will be different, also still would be interested in a nice looking solution.

I was looking for a case for my new FlashROM 99 cart and as the case used for old „Romox“ carts should work fine, I was even thinking for a minute if I should destroy the only Romox cart I own, but then I decided to go for a quick & dirty „hack“ solution and I used an original classic TI cart instead.
It didn´t need to look perfect as I wanted to use only parts I had already at home. The bigges problem with my hack here is that I used superglue to keep the 2 parts oft the case together, as I had no better idea how to do that, so the huge downside of that solution here is, that I need to crack open the case if I ever need to fix something or upgrade the cart.

Guys ! It's Is incredible
the cases of ROMOX cartridges are perfect for the FlashRom 99 !!

Now working on a good label for the TOP !

Good to know, now the question is where to find such ROMOX carts.

Got the cart yesterday, what a great solution!

Got mine today, thanks a lot Ksarul!

Don´t know yet how to use the new features, but at least the memory test worked, it behaves like a standard 32k card and most important, thanks for putting also a LED on the PCB, I would really miss that feature.
Now the only thing missing for a "perfect setup" is some way to get the speech synthesizer into the PCB without buying some super rare PEB card for 500.000$ from eBay that shows up every 10 years there and then it is from a seller that does not even ship to Europe.

Guys, what I showed on my channel was an early prerelease, I made that clear also in the video and it says that also in the first post.
When I show something like that it means that item is not ready yet. Why do I still show stuff early whenever I get a prerelease version? So that you know about upcoming projects.
Sorry in case that was still confusing for some of you.

I remember before we got this excellent mod from Mc Will, others tried similar mods with similar functionality. In the end those were not for free either, because as every engineer will know development does cost a lot of time and money. None of the other solutions I have seen so far did work that great with so many features than this mod here. Please let´s keep in mind this here is not some Nintendo DS flashcart made in China for millions of users, this is something for a quite limited target group.
To be honest this is one of the nicest mods I ever bought for any system and it was worth every cent, just saying...

Note to Fred - Release the new 7800 Harmony soon, or else part of your market will go to this new product!
Note to R.Cade - To be honest I think all type of flash and multi-carts have their pro and cons, so it is really depending what you prefer and need.

Does it include the programmer or does that need to be purchased separately?

Great that you also showed the case, good to know that´s possible. Didn´t put my cart into such a case yet.
