  1. It is very important to always state over and over again, how "unhealthy" the basement area is. It is darker there, the air as "bad" and unhealthy and there could be mold. Don´t know if my wife really believes me though.
  2. I totally know that situation, so our living room is quite empty, but "my" basement is a mess.
  3. Took some time until I got mine a while ago, but it was totally worth the wait in my opinion. Love that multicart.
  4. OK thanks, so that would also explain that I still could read another 5,25" TI disk written on another 40 track drive/system.
  5. Hi, thanks to this forum here I came to the idea that I will upgrade my PEB with the 80 tracks mod and I would like to install 1 Lotharek USB drive and 1 3,5" disk drive later. I have a question now and I hope this here is the right thread to ask that: I got the new replacement ROMs for the Floppy Disk Controller from atrax27407 quite fast and I asked him for the 80/80/80 option (so all 3 drives can use 80 tracks). I put the new ROMs in (using IC sockets of course) and as I don´t have the proper power cables for my 3,5" disk drive yet, I had the idea to use the old huge disk drive that originally came with the PEB to see at least if the disk controller is still alive. What surprised me now is that it is still working like normal, so I can format it with 40 tracks in Disk Manager, I can put files on it and read from it. So even I got the 80/80/80 ROMs it seems to backwards compatible, which could make sense, the only question is then what is the reason that you also can order a 40 track option, if your old 40 track disk drive works also with the 80 track ROM anyway?
  6. Thanks for still supporting your flashcard after all the years! Like last time I had troubles to find out how to do the firmware update, but then I remembered that is described in more detail in the English manual.
  7. Thanks, what a great game collection disk! Just put it on my NanoPEB and having a lot of fun with that. I just realized that Suboceanic game is also on the "2048K Games 1" multicart, there it is called Submarine Battle, really like those kind of arcade style games.
  8. Great stuff! I remember back then that I always thought about why Munch Man was drawing lines instead of eating dots. How is that Subocean game?
  9. This is one of those moments my wife does not really understand me, that I sit in a basement the whole evening watching some guy unboxing "old stuff he just got from Texas." The only fact that gives me hope is, that I am not the only one here watching those videos.
  10. Yes, more homecomputer unboxing pornography!
  11. Thanks Rasmus! When TI 99 games would have looked like that back then, I am not sure if I would have bought my SInclair ZX Spectrum right when it came out.

Let´s not hijack this thread, but as far as I remember I have 64k ROM images running both on the Mateos cart and also the VecMulti.
  13. I knew that the package was on the way as I asked Chris about it, as I needed to plan when I could do the video shooting.
  14. Here now some gameplay of the new cartridge starting at 10:52 :
  15. If you like arcade style games you will not regret it, still love my XMAS 2014 cart and especially the "Parcel Panic" game on the new 2015 cart is so much fun. BTW, here you see the XMAS 2014 games in case you have not seen them so far:
  16. In my latest "Virtual Boy Extravaganza" video I also show the SNES controller adapter I built for Hyper Fighting around 20:06, just in case someone wants to see that:
  17. Here I show you the AudioSonic / Radofin 1292 (1392) Advanced Programmable Video System released around 1979. The same game system was also marketed under several different other brand names, like e.g. Acetronic, Hanimex, Fountain, Prinztronic, Lansay, Grandstand and many more. The technology is based on the German Interton VC 4000 console, which was released in 1978.
  18. Here I have a look at an early prerelease version of the new Mateos Rewritable Multigame Cartridge:
  19. I know this is AtariAge and not NintendoAge, but maybe some of you still want to check out a nice new homebrew game for the obscure Nintendo Pokémon Mini system:
  20. You will drive your whole family nuts with the sound of the plastic gears.
  21. The nice thing with the AtariVox+ is that you cannot use it only on the Vectrex, but also the Atari 2600 in case you have one:
  22. Well it is not always the case, sometimes people pay a fortune on eBay instead of contacting the delevoper of the game directly, because they often don´t know the game is still available. Vector Pilot is a good example for that and also the John Dondzilla games you can now get at PackratVg.
  23. Here I show Warrior and 2 other Vectrex homebrew games in action:
  24. Yes that´s true. As far as I remember the M3 Movie Player was quite easy to set up, but it is very hard to find.
  25. Looks great! Reminds me of one of my favorite Virtual Boy titles "Bound High".
