no such thing as a great nes sight

If this "mature" site you're talking about starts with something that rhymes with Fardius or FigitFress, I wouldn't call the latest rom news/collection and proto brags that much of help to the normal gamer. Just opinion of mine.. I don't even know what site is being talked about. I guess you should hide it fearing that the rest of us un-1337 fools don't ruin it. -

Most NES sites have the same rarity list (composed by Etler, a bit outdated but there are people working on updated versions). http://www.nesplayer.com/misc/nesrare.txt I'll give you the point about organization. There are no nifty search tools like Atari Age. And you might have to go to 2 or 3 sites to get everything you need, but you'll eventually get it. Creating a new page with something that someone already has just seems pointless to me. I'd rather see a site that focuses on game strategies of good (non-popular)titles. -
Frustrating? Psshaw. This is the easiest Metroid game yet. The original game was FRUSTATING having to play through without a map, areas looking alike, and some very well hidden items. Fusion is a great game, best game I've played on the GBA.

Come now come now! Some of you guys sound like real jerks. There are literally hundreds of NES sites out there. Definitely more quality NES sites than quality Atari. The great thing about these sites is the variety. There are some like Atari Age (all information), others that are all humorous, some with both, and even those that just focus on retelling memories and nostalgia. I HIGHLY doubt any new site about the NES that sticks to the Atari Age style will succeed with adding anything new to the web. There are just so many info archives out there. You guys aren't looking hard. Info sites: http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/ http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/ http://gamersgraveyard.com/repository http://www.nesworld.com http://www.nesfiles.com http://www.classicgaming.com/wwnbf/ http://www.angelfire.com/games2/nessie/index.html http://www.nescentral.com http://dod.hpi.net/ivgdb/ Humor: http://wonderland.disflux.net/ http://osg.disflux.net/ http://nintendope.iodized.net/ And both http://www.neschedda.com/ http://www.nesplayer.com/ http://www.thisoldnes.com/ http://www.nes-site.com/ http://www.geocities.com/flyingomelette/ http://www.geocities.com/nesfaqs/ etc etc etc And what's wrong with younger audiences getting into classic games? I, for one, commend them.
