Looking to buy 64MB or 128MB Micro SD cards in bulk. 50 or more. Thanks
-
Yes, there's 2 guys testing it at the moment (VectrexMad! and Tickled_Pink). There was some weirdness going on between consoles, but I think it's fixed now (I hope). I was going to continue making the VecFlash, but the flash memory is just about impossible to find now. I have no carts left (I even sold mine).
-
I thought they'd be some in the AA store by now
-
They go bright, they go dim, then they go pop. It's quite fun. Lighted carts are cool. This is a colour-changing LED (and series resistor) inside a clear Vectrex cart.

He did a quick test on 2 of his consoles and it worked fine. So I'm thinking rare glitch. I'm building up 50 at the moment, and a friend is doing me a nice label.
-
I'm still waiting for more testing info from the guy with the many consoles. BTW are you in the UK ?
-
I've just borrowed a cable from a friend, and it's now working Still puzzled about the shutting down thing though Never mind, back to playing Robot Wars Thanks !
-
The console has been modded. I forgot to say, there's also no video. I can sometimes get it to stay on with a green LED, but there's still no picture.
-
Original Xbox. I power it on, the hard drive tries starting up, then the console powers-off. I do this 3 times, then the console stays on and the LED is flashing amber / red. Any ideas ? Thanks

Your second best friend is the flux pen You can make a mess look pro with liquid flux. It makes the joints nice and shiny and stops bridging.

Vecflash Software/Driver?
Richard H. replied to Cebus Capucinis's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Hmm, that's sh*t. I'll get on to my internet provider ASAP Anyway, the driver .zip is attached. VecFlash.zip -
I was close to releasing it when a friend tried it on his console and it wouldn't work I've now sent the cart (aka VecMulti) to a friend with 12 consoles and am waiting the outcome of the testing. I have a few PCB's left, so I might put some more for sale if the new cart is going to take a long time. It should be possible.

These are from my Eagle lib folder. I can't remember where / who they came from. Eagle_2600.zip

Something I thought would be useful

Would any of those bits fit the screws in a VirtualBoy cart ? -
Well, I've finished testing the cart with every normal game, 64K bank-switched game, and games with extra RAM and they all work fine. Also, the menu entries can now be up to 13 chars in length.
-
Yes. It has 64K of SRAM. It can be used in the existing way, in that a 32K portion can be code and RAM. (e.g. AnimAction - 8K code 2K RAM) 'RAM bank-switching' should also be possible to allow the other 32K to come into play. Yes, the AtariVox 2 supports both the VecVoice and VecVox modes (as well as AtariVox). It's being built by Glenn Saunders and will be back in the AA store soon.
-
$80 shipped. Hopefully about the same price.
-
It's a PIC. It's OK - thanks. To be honest, I need to sell some more of the USB version to fund the new cart.
-
As I'm Months away from finishing the new cart, the VecFlash will be back in stock in about 2 weeks from now. Thanks.
-
None, I just like to make sure it works OK. Which means lot's of testing, tinkering and PCB revisions. And also fitting in the time between work and other projects. Yes. A LOT more. Every game now and in the future.
-
Some time yet. Which is why I'm thinking of resurrecting the VecFlash for a while.

Like this one -

You can't, they are now discontinued.
