My next board is going to be one with a built-in PSU like this beauty - http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/se...roductId=136258
-
Yes You'll also need an AA CV dev board, as this is what the end of the adapter plugs into. 2 or 3 weeks
-
After a long absence, the VecFlash cart is now back www.vectrex.biz
-
Perhaps they'd be a better response on the Stella list, as this is where the scheme for the lower 16K was worked out.
-
This is Alex Herbert's proposal, but as no program currently uses this area, it's not yet 'set in stone' - I'm no coder, but surely this wouldn't be such a problem on the 7800 ?
-
Anyone tried an AtariVox on a modded FB2 yet ? If so, did it work OK ?
-
I'll ship it free anywhere in the UK
-
Not boxed, but in excellent physical and working condition with - Red Alarm Galactic Pinball Mario's Tennis £35

I know Alex is still working flat-out to get this finished (it's got delayed due to illness) There's a LOT of AtariVox speech in this game

Atari Homebrew Cartridge Labeler Software
Richard H. replied to HP Atari King of Michigan's topic in Homebrew Discussion
I use a CraftRobo to make Vectrex labels Start off with an A4 sheet of adhesive-backed gloss paper, and it'll cut just through to the backing any shape / size label you want. It can do perfect rounded corners, complex cut-outs etc -
As the SpeakJet chip is infact a PIC, and drawing very little current, the majority is from the small amp circuit. I assume you don't have an AtariVox then ?
-
7.29 mA BTW why do you need to know ?
-
Yes, I have a few built, not cased though (haven't got around to ordering them yet) The case that fits it is available in the US from Pactec, and is model CNS-0404 http://www.pactecenclosures.com/Plastic-En...04-drawing.html Let me know if you want to wait, or case it yourself (you only need to drill one hole for the PSU plug) PM me

Moderators Any chance of getting my ad pinned ? It's just that I'm continually making them, as opposed to selling a one off item. Thanks...

A Few Flashback II hardware questions
Richard H. replied to Drewman21's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
I'd be very interested to know that too -
I was talking about the MemCard, and it being supplied with the homebrew 7800 game cart. I think they're cheap enough to make this viable. That's what the other 16K is for ($4000 - $7FFF)
-
PS-2 keyboards have 4 connections - Clock Data +5V GND Surely, it could be connected straight onto the port and the code do the rest ? (I was going to use a PIC to decode, and spit serial ASCII back to the console) Yes I say forget 2600 backward compatibility and devise an all new file structure for the 7800. You're obviously better than I at working out such a scheme. Do you want to lay some thing out + perhaps discuss it on the 7800 forum ?
-
I'll make them if you think there's enough demand ? Yes, it needs an all new format for the 7800. I could do a 7800 version of the Memory Allocation Table with bigger blocks.
-
Let me send you a free MemCard to experiment with (PM me your address)
-
I've set up a page if anyone wants one - MemCards and interface
-
Personally, I'd go for a cased unit, something like this will do what you want - http://cgi.ebay.ca/TOP2004-USB-Universal-E...1QQcmdZViewItem You'll also need an eraser if you intend to re-use your EPROM's - http://cgi.ebay.ca/UV-Eprom-Eraser_W0QQite...1QQcmdZViewItem Blank EPROM's and dev boards are available from the AA store. I have some of these boards, and they are VERY high quality.

Looking for a colecovision multicart
Richard H. replied to thecolecokid's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
FYI I've built a ColecoVision FLASH cart, it's an add-on for my VecFlash cart. You can put up to 16 games on it at any time (selected via dip-switch) If there's enough demand I might start selling them. -
MemCards and interface

Go here if you want a MemCard interface or keyring version of the card - MemCard stuff
