  1. I've ported and edited/changed this sprite from a project that I've been working on, so when that project is done, you might recognise it. HornedSerpent_DPC+.zip Enjoy. Illya
  2. Thank you. Like SpiceWare, I also hope to inspire people. lol.. Brian. How about MichePixelangelo? Thank you. And remember, this thread is for anyone to share their creations in. I hope others jump in and display their skills and not let me hog everything. Your friend, Illya
  3. I must have more time than I think I do... ScytheKnight01_DPC+.zip Illya
  4. Hey that sounds great! And Chun-Li is always a crowd pleaser in my opinion. Do you have an estimated release date for your DPC+ demo? Illya
  5. Hey, thank you very much. As I find time there will be more DPC+ sprites posted for everyone.
  6. You ordered one shy guy? That'll be one large pizza a 1/2 dozen cans of coke please. SMB2 Pink Shy Guy.zip
  7. My very first DPC+ Sprites are in. Mainly these are just for practice. Nothing animated may appear for awhile as these sprites take a little bit longer to create due to the greater detail and colour that can be added (and because my standards are too bloody high.. heh heh heh). Enjoy. Flowers DPC+.zip These were inspired by the love of my life.
  8. Hey, glad I could help and you're most welcome. I will be happy to see your work with them. Take care.
  9. *GASP* Time to play. Thank you for the heads-up
  10. Nice work! You really know your way around music. Can't wait to hear more tunes. Illya
  11. Well with a single line resolution as opposed to the double line we have now, it would definitely allow the sprites to look a lot better. My drawings are done in Visual bB which hasn't implemented the new resolution yet so I'm kinda stuck for now. Janet and Magenta could both use a make over. If I get more time I might be able to playing with just bB and see what I can come up with. In the meantime, keep this thread alive. Thank you. PMR aka Illya
  12. OW! Hey! No need to yell! My thread's in the same forum next to this one. So much reading, so little time.
  13. Wow! There are alot of awesome changes in that list. Any idea when it's going to be released?
  14. You cheater!!!! I'd love to figure out how to do some actual rotoscoping. Take a video clip or animated GIF and turn it into a bB sprite. Even if you have to clean it up, at least the basic movement would be there. Problem is a bB sprite is very small, so everything I have tried is too darn fuzzy to use and completely useless. I wish it were as easy as a one-click Animated GIF to 2600 Sprites, and have them look good. When I'm taking a large pic and want to reduce it's size to be a sprite I try using the following method(Yes I know, I'll make that tutorial one day ): The first 2 steps can be done in reverse order... First, using a program, shrink the picture down as far as possible without losing too many details in the picture. Second, try reducing the color of the picture to as few colors as possible without losing too much of the image details (If you can, make it 1 color). Third, it's all grunt work from here. In the picture editor, view the image and imagine that it's divided into 4 square sections making a upper left and upper right, and lower left and lower right. Now, start pushing these sections towards the center of the picture. Sometimes whole left and right or top and bottom sections need to be moved, and sometimes it's just a small piece of the picture. Continue until you are happy , or angry and want to break something. Sounds like fun huh?
  15. Hey, Thanks guys! When it was done, that Jellyfish amazed me too lol. It's based on the actual real-life movements of a Jellyfish that was filmed and placed on Youtube. Ugh.. I'm giving away my trade secrets! heh
  16. Strange... I was pretty sure I fixed the gaps before I saved the sprite files. I'm at work so I probably got distracted and thought I had done so. In any case, there are now two versions of Magenta back in the first posting of her. One with gaps and one without the gaps. Whichever one you like best, is good enough for me. It's looking good so far.. I keep thinking that if I wait long enough there's going to be a surprise mud wrestling scene with Janet and Magenta. *crossing fingers*
  17. EDIT I've revised the original posted Magenta sprite files to correct a modification to the color that I made to make the animated GIF. Added a No gap in the hair version as a separate download.
  18. Thank you very much. How's the programming side of things going? Are we going for a complete conversion of The Rocky Horror Show from the Commie 128, or a game based on it? After watching a few videos, and listening to the music on Youtube; I gotta say the music is nice, but when it loops for more than 10 minutes - it's getting close to the hell that is the Ghostbusters game for nearly every early platform.(See Angry Video Game Nerds review on Youtube)
  19. Magenta is 8 frames, with no still frame as far as I can find. She's animated nearly the same as Janet is. Magenta Animated -> EDIT - Revised and corrected sprites. TRHS Magenta Side Animation.zip OR TRHS Magenta Side Animation V2 - no gaps in hair.zip
  20. You're right, it's not bad. I do find that some of the letters are difficult to make out though. It's like doing a Timewarp... again. My "not bad" was ironical. Your animations are wonderful! You've done a terrific work converting Janet's sprites. You have pressed fire button at titlescreen, don't you? Er.. um yah... Yah I did...... no... No I didn't. I checked it out while I was too sleepy. My bad. *presses fire* Say, that does look really nice! Janet might be upset when she finds that her shoes don't go with everything anymore. hehe

  22. Well those were fun, but I think I managed to capture the spirit of the animation. WARNING! Educational tidbit ahead! After capturing all of the side frames I laid them out in order, labeled them, put them on a matrix based on the sprites pixel size, and lined them up with the Still frame. Excuse the gaudy colors, I was in a hurry. Still Frame + 8 Frame Animation -> 8 Frame Animation -> TRHS Janet Side Animation.zip
  23. I had a funny feeling you'd choose that combination. I'll give the side animation a try. It'll have to wait until I'm at home(did these while I was at work *snicker*) and I'll start on it for ya.
  24. lol.. Philsan.. Thank you very much everyone. I sure do appreciate your support, and have realized that we've all made this a great supporting and helpful community. More sprites coming soon.
