  1. Super old thread but did anyone get a solution to this problem? Just modded one and have the same display.
  2. Found the issue. Had a 22k instead of a 22 ohm resistor. Replaced this and got picture. Now I have heaps of static which looks to be common going from another thread on AA but looks like there is no solution. Think I might put this one to bed now as have spent far too long in it.
  3. Hey everyone, Someone has asked me to mod a Intellivision II console for AV. I have followed the schematic at http://wiki.intellivision.us/index.php?title=Intellivision_Composite_Video_Modification I have built 2 circuits on bread board and then tried to build one just laying out the parts and soldering the legs together so I can get a better picture of what i could be doing wrong. I am getting no signal at all. Normally on my CRT I will get some signal but I am getting nothing. I can tune in to RF no problems. I have attached pictures of where I am tapping 5v and also the circuit I am using. All values are exactly as the schematic except for the 660Ohm which I am using a 680Ohm resistor. Can some of the fine people at AA have a love over the circuit and see if I am missing something? Thanks
  4. I ended up grabbing these. Have not received them yet but they should do https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CH-3-96MM-Pitch-Crimps-Connectors-Terminals-Molex-Contact-Plug-Socket-PCB-Copper/254187025602?hash=item3b2eba34c2:m:mZOL-exyk7owx4yP9tFYw8g&var=553553374570
  5. Going to be making a couple of SDrive-Max devices for a local computer group here in Australia. I know you can get ready made connectors but I like to do things the hard way
  6. Hey everyone, I am looking at making a few SIO cables using 3D printed parts. Just need to order some of the Molex crimp terminals. I found these which look correct. Can someone confirm? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lots-Terminal-Crimp-Pin-For-Fan-Connector-Plug-Molex-KK-Style-2510-2-54mm-PC-Mod/283084312616?hash=item41e923d028:m:mW9KwFWUAmh_cHIRtFGzsPw&frcectupt=true Thanks
  7. I am interested in one also. Shipped to Australia
  8. Yes that is fine. Could you just solder the cortex chip and I can do the rest. Put me down for a kit regardless. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  9. Thank you. Put me down for a PCB and parts please with programmed Atmega chip. Thanks
  10. How much delivery to Australia? Interested in PCB + Case + pre-programmed ARM + all required components for assembling
  11. Yes I have a few more ready. Just send me a pm Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  12. I know this is an old thread but wanted to see how progress went on this one. i am looking at making a universal type ESP modem that can be used on Amiga, Ti etc. How did you go with the CTS and RTS signals?
  13. Great project. I have created a modem for a Commodore 64 using the same code as you are using. I had the idea of creating a modem for the Atari but I never got around to it. Glad your proof of concept works
  14. I have 13 more available now. I could not get the battery holders so I have fixed batteries on these. They should last for years either way. PM me if you are after one. Same price as above.
  15. Yes mate. i will have more coming. Made 20 initially but all sold in a day. Will have more in a couple of weeks
  16. Hey guys, I have a couple of joystick testers for sale. $14AUD shipped Worldwide. Paypal as gift or pay fees. $14.85AUD if paying regular Paypal DB9 connections. Works with 2 button joysticks like a master system controller. PM me if interested
  17. It's such a shame that a store that has such a vast inventory of Atari products still insists on using such a crap website. The site has scared me in the past. Just trying to find something has been a nightmare. I have started a small online which I basically setup using the built in tools provided by my provider and if I paid someone like $2k they would be able to pretty it up. From the sounds of these guys turnover that would not be much in the scheme of things and the lost orders alone from people just saying "To hell with this site" would more than cover the admin costs of the site.
  18. You can try http://www.emuparadise.me They have full sets for each of those. All you will ever need for your ever drives
  19. Looks like you were correct. Received more nos EPROMs and tested today and all working perfectly. That was straight though as they are exactly the same EPROMs. Could be a problem with the one I was using. Anyway live and learn
  20. Yeah I am leaning towards pp's version. 44 euro just seems steep for hhdriver.I did more research and there is definitely 4gb non-hxc cards out there. I understand the risks of buying from china but I use a program that fills the card then reads it back to ensure it is legit. If not a paypal claim goes in and I get a refund. In this age where the cards are so cheap there is no reason for selling a rebranded 2gb card just to make 50 cents.
  21. Thank you for the information. There are non-HxC 4gb cards. I recall using one on an old PDA unit years ago. Just check eBay and found these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOPRAM-4GB-4G-SD-Card-non-HC-V1-1-Secure-Digital-Memory-Card-for-older-devices-/330894687595?pt=US_Memory_Card_Readers_USB_Host_Adapters&hash=item4d0adc3d6b Would these work?
  22. Hey guys, I have a Satandisk on its way from sunny Poland. I have been looking into it and found 2 different HD Drivers I can use but wanted opinions on which is best. I see that most people refer to HDDRIVER. I have seen another one which is listed on this site http://atari.8bitchip.info/pphdr.php I see that the second one mentions only 2GB partitions available with a Satandisk but on the eBay auction it mentions supports upto 4gb. Any advice on which to get or advantages of each? Basically just want to play some games on the beast and also convert MSA images to disk. Thanks
  23. I did have success burning halo a few months ago using the exact same test board and EPROM type and also rom image. Have no idea what has changed since.
  24. Hey mate, I know this is late but I can tell you that you flash the cart with PAL firmware. Doesn't really matter as I use this on both my NTSC and PAL consoles. Only the games menu comes out a weird colour on the screen but games are all working perfect. Best thing for any Atari 2600 fan.
