You got a DVD drive. You got read / write speed from the DVD-drive to a hard drive. You got about 7-9 gigs of data. It just is what it is.

360's DVD drive is 12x spin, or about 30% fastrer than the blu-ray drive.

I don't know about X whatevers and PB&J3's but my Atari 2600 boots up games pretty quick.

I just replaced two crusty fans which were causing overheating problems (and a horrific amount of noise and rattling) in my own PC. I'd love to see PCs go fanless, and you can buy them that way now, but it usually involves performance compromises.

High performance = noise and heat. A universal constant!

@jaybird3rd you want fanless you can always go liquid cooling yourself otherwise not likely an option for anything then the lowest of computers, something has to take care of cooling.....

I think it's hilarious when one of my friends tries to impress me by saying, "I have such and such movie on an old VHS tape! I even still have a player!" And I'm just like, "Yeah, so do I. I also have a Laserdisc player, a Beta VCR, and an RCA Selectavision that plays video discs with a stylus." I guess I exceeded the character limit. That was supposed to say: There have to be millions of them out there, you can pick 'em up for a couple of bucks in a thrift store or pawn shop. In fact, that's exactly what I did when my last VCR failed, and I ended up with one that was better than the one I had, too.

I've had it since it was fairly new and still haven't attempted to beat it. Older Mario games begged me to play them first, I got sidetracked and never got around to it. The New Super Mario Bros. Wii came out and made me want to play it much more instead. So Galaxy is still waiting for me.

I liked it better than the new SMB for Wii. Hardly played SMG 2 tho.

Super Mario Galaxy is one of my favorite Mario games. It certainly made up for Mario Sunshine.

I like Sonic 2 but didn't care for Sonic 3. It just didn't seem to be much fun.

I agree that Sonic 2 is better than 3. S2 is a masterpiece IMO, with the exception of Hill Top Zone. hated those two levels and that song.
