  1. A dangerous place, if you're hungry for nostalgia... https://rocketfizz.com

  2. Things that weren't on my to-do list for today: spending two hours on hold with Apple, because nobody can figure out how to email me a receipt.

  3. My dream job is to be the guy at Apple who goes through the OS, finds any remaining useful features, and tells the programmers to get rid of them. Because clearly someone is doing that, and is probably getting paid really well.

Or the guy that takes something useful, stable and familiar and completely reworks it into something worse, uglier, clunkier, less stable and just plain different.

  4. Currently in a Zoom meeting, where we're having a meeting about how to have meetings, and they literally just said not to have a meeting about other meetings. I think I'm actually wasting time faster than time is passing, but I'm not good enough at mathematics to figure out how to graph it.

This is funny. Last night I participated in a meeting about too many meetings.

Did the meeting also include mention of what kinds of donuts should be eaten when having meetings?

@frankodragon Sadly, no. That would've been productive, and caused a rip in the space-time continuum.

Are we talking about my Battlestar Galactica erotic fan fiction?   I can't help it if it's based on a true story ?

Can't these live happily together, i.e. from fan art and plagiarism to you're a fan of "art plagiarism"?

  8. Congratulations IGN on becoming even more unreadable! I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking at over there now.

When it comes to basic usability, I increasingly find most of the biggest websites—Facebook, Pinterest, etc.—to be completely incomprehensible.

Given that recommendations nowadays are tailored to your needs, you obviously need them. Just be happy they are not telling you you need penis enlargement. :)

A couple of weeks ago I was considering buying a 3-pack of boxers. Now I see those boxers everywhere I go on the internet. :)

I was recommended to buy some rubber pieces to seal the windows on a '75 Chrysler Cordoba ...Which would seem pretty weird,  unless someone in the future Gives me a 1975 Chrysler Cordoba,  and explicit instructions (Or well they don't have to be explicit,...Maybe implied instructions would work nearly as well)  to make sure and buy some rubber pieces to seal the windows on it...I don't have one of those cars is my point.

  12. So, just how many roads must a man walk down? Please quantify the answer in the form of an integer and show your work.

Glad to hear you got your second shot!  Yeah, from what I've heard of the Moderna vaccine, the second shot tends to knock people out the day after.  Not looking forward to that!  First shot was fine, just minor pain at the injection site.

Mine was Pfizer. I've heard Moderna kicks harder, but it really depends on the individual.

Congrats on your full vaccination! My second Pfizer shot is April 12th and I can't wait. Other than a little soreness in my arm, I had no issues with the first shot.

While I can't remember a specific song he did, his name came up a lot on the jazz station I listened to growing up.   Sorry to hear this.
