  1. Heck of a day today, Just put in Street Fighter II CE, Rainbow Edition in the Arcade, and the crowd went wild, Also received, if you can believe it another Videobrain Family Computer Model 101, this one came without a power supply or games, but using the parts from the one I received last week, I put it all together and it worked great, this one even has a better outer case, now all I need are joysticks for this puppy, check out the pics of this baby in action. I also just received the Grundig super play computer 4000, I was a bit confused by this one, as I could not find a power or video output port for it, I kept looking for it turning it around , upside down, etc. I even complained to the guy that sold it to me, because he had put that it came with a power supply, but I could not find the power supply in the box , nor where to plug it in. After some research I found out that the cart that you see in the pic labeled Grundig ,is where it gets it's power and gives out an RGB signal from, these game units apparently could only be operated by being plugged into high end Grundig TV's back then, The Grundig tv's had a cart slot in the back where this game system plugged into, pretty neat, I guess I could hack it and make it work, but I think I will keep this one original, it also came with 2 vc4000 games to add to the collection.
  2. Thanks Pac-fan, always love to hear from fellow collectors. Rick
  3. Hello everyone, well 3 New consoles have arrived between last week and this week, 1 of them I will have to work on to get fixed, seems like a ram problem. Here they are #1 - Videobrain Family Computer Model 101 - not working properly, comes up and shows display, but as you can see it is very garbled, The power connector is very industrial for this system, it is a twist lock, with a very nick click when it is locked into place, You can see what the cart port locks like straight on, and the power adapter so you can see the voltages necessary to run this unit. It also came with a TV rf converter and 8 carts. #2 - Prinztronic Tournament Ten deluxe video tv game - This one came boxed with foam inserts, although the box is pretty tattered, and the manual. I simply love this 70's look on the people displayed in the front of this system, definitely the look of retro. #3 - This one is a Rare one from japan, it is YSA TV Sports Star, the box is huge, you can see how it compares to my hand, it came complete with foam inserts and a gun, the rf adapter and the console itself .It definitely is a very neat system, the gun still clicks like new when you pull the trigger. Here are the pics, enjoy.
  4. Just received a new handheld today, it is the Digiblast system from Italy, Very nice system, looks cool, love the blue led lighting, and the built in stand sort of reminds me a bit of the original gameboy advanced because of the look of the carts, the screen is color, but when there is movement , it not so good. Pitfall was barely playable, any movement on the screen creates a blurring effect so the clarity and definition of the graphics get lost, It is also a movie and mp3 player, It runs on AA or rechargeable batteries,And you can get a tv out card, and mp3 storage card with 256mb for it, i have been trying to purchase these 2 items, but the language barrier between here and Italy keeps getting in the way. It does however come with a nifty little carrying pouch, the contrast and volume are located on the side of the unit and the power on the top, there are 2 pics which show the blurring effect, if you look towards the top of the screen you will see that it is clear, but the motion is completely blurred. Anyhow here are the pics.
  5. I am very glad you enjoyed the Arcade Ntavio, We should be getting ready to do the monthly game swaps in another week or 2, and we have a huge order of Japanese snacks and drinks arriving by next week. Also in the next month or so we will be bringing in retro consoles and games for sale, so keep your eyes open.
  6. Believe it or not Andres,I have that system being shipped to me from germany, It is a clone of the Interton VC4000 which is in the collection currently.
  7. You are correct Andre81, I do not have that one, seems to be a british system, but not too sure. I know it is madel by Cabel, but I do not know much about that particular system, I you ever want to sell it, pm me with how much you want, and if it is reasonable I will purchase it from you. Anyone else find any missing systems? Rick
  8. Another pong today, this one is a Nintendo CTG-15 complete with paperwork.
  9. Thanks Ilovethevectrex, I'm glad you liked it, Currently i have 3 vectrexes, and 2 - 3d imagers, and i agree it is a great system, i need to get more overlays though. Rick
  10. Very cool high voltage, I will add this to my list of peripherals to search for. Many Thanks Rick
  11. Very true scooter, unfortunately there are not too many unique consoles left for me to get, but as everyone knows I diligently keep searching, also if anyone has any to add to my lists please ring in and let me know. Here is the current updated list of consoles, the Arcade pcb one has gotten so large it would take me a couple of weeks just to sort through all the boards, so we will have to hold on that one for now. Now I should mention that these lists do not include all the duplicate ,triplicates, quintuplicates, etc, that I have on some of these systems, for example I have 9 gamecubes, you get the idea, nor does this list include the tons of games that I have for all of them, except however for my laserdisc collections, i'm particularly proud of those, so those are listed. Let's begin my updated lists by listing consoles that I know I am missing. Actual Missing Consoles --------------------------------------------- RDI Video Systems Halcyon - have 2 ld players + football disc, missing the main system + game carts + keyboard + headset Olivetti envision 400 P75 / P90 - missing wireless keyboard and software, need to fix current unit Nintendo Computer Tv Game CTG-HC10 - nintendokonpiyuta Zemmix CPG-120 - yes I already know I already have a Zemmix console, but this one can play MSX2+ games, so I have to get it. 12. Just received another rare console today, the Sega Teradrive, a nice mix between sega megadrive and pc, these pc's are unique in the fact that the pc can fully interact with the mega drive, unlike the Amstrad megapc which cannot. I did not get a keyboard or mouse with it , but still a great system none the less, I am ordering a sega black ps/2 style keyboard and I need to find a sega tera mouse to try and complete it, I have got to open it up why I get a chance and see if the 30meg hd is in there. I just turned it on and saw it has a whole 2.5megs of Ram, hey don't laugh, that used to be a crap ton of memory back then. Any how here are some pics for you to enjoy.
  13. <p>Here is another console that has just been added to the collective. It is a funvision 64 in 1 . It is a European atari 2600 pal clone. Looks sort of like a 2600 jr. It has 64 atari 2600 games built in, which is pretty neat, and i got it with 2 2600 carts in their boxes, breakout and dark chambers, not super rare titles but a nice plus.here are some pics, enjoy.

  15. And another Console, this one was known as the Bandai or Takara Video Challenger, I have been hunting for this one for a while, and finally ran across one, This one however was labeling GIG Video challenger and it was in PAL format and from France to boot, they are all the same system just sold through different brand names, here are some images.
  16. Another Arrival, A Liko Dendy KL-235, still sealed, already have the junior, Rather neat console, a famicom clone complete with wireless transmitter and pirate cart to boot. enjoy the pics.
  17. New console just got in, The Panasonic Q Gamecube, probably the nicest looking console in the collection, and the only gamecube that can play dvd's. Check out the pics, Rick
  18. Check out this funny Parody we just finished for the Arcade, Let me know what you think, and if you like it please share it. http://t.co/DaLEj4tFiE Many Thanks Rick
  19. We just finished this game parody, let us know what you think. http://t.co/DaLEj4tFiE Rick

  21. Here are some more for you console lovers out there, I just got a few more systems on the way and the first batch arrived, My first one is a Game Joy Poke Fami DX - basically another one of the those pocket famicon players out there, but this one was sort of neat, first it came with a stand, which was pretty neat, but it did not stop there, it also had separate controller ports and you could disable the 1st port and use the game as the primary controller, the screen was pretty crisp, and of course the system allowed you to hook it up to your tv through composite output cables, but as I was getting ready to pull the batteries out to store it, I realized it is a rechargeable system, not too shabby for a pocket clone machine. Now my 2nd one is a Sharp Famicom Box an-560, it came with 10 games, and you could take it up to 15, the carts were proprietary on this one with a limited list of titles, it did not come with the side holder, and I had to take a drill to 1 of the locks to get the front open, you can see the locks in the pics, but overall in pretty good shape, all the games work and I tested all the slots, so now im looking for another 5 titles to fill it up and then store it away, It did however come with the original manual, which looks as it was put together by some one, but no I found out that it is how it originally came, gotta love the japs., Anyhow very late, should be receiving a few more in the next few days. Enjoy the pics and Goodnight. Rick Oh I almost forgot we got a real star -Wacka Flacka Flame - to endorse the arcade - hey do not knock it, I appreciated it and he did it out of kindness of his heart. Check it out here https://www.facebook...500140656728089.
  22. Here is another one for the console lovers out there, from Russia none the less, this is the Dendy Jr, Pal signal just like the zeebo, which explains the b&w image on the screen, run on 220v plug, so I converted that down to 110v, I also went through the whole list of games that it comes with in order to show everyone what you get with this, it is very light and feels flimsy, but the games play very well regardless of how cheaply made it looks and feels. Here are pics for you to enjoy.
  23. Actually Nightsprinter, Yes i did , nice guy, he was in the other hall with Marcel and Carlos. Great Con it was a lot of fun , but very exhausting. Rick
  24. Well guys as you know I launched the Indiegogo campaign to grow the arcade and create a gaming museum like no other, well the requests keep coming in that everyone wants to see the collection that will be encompassed by the museum, so without further adieu, I present about 85% of my collection, I could not reach the rest of it because it got sealed behind the garage doors and by the time we realized it, we were so tired that we just said, well take the rest of the pics later, but for now, it is a pretty good start. Here are the image, it is almost 5am and im done for. Don't forget to check out our indiegogo campaign at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/arcade-odyssey-museum-ultimate-expansion/x/3097549?c=home. Many Thanks Rick
  25. Thank you ntavio, I will give them a shot. Rick
