1. 10/π = -1.
2. Fatality. (And now, the check.)
3. Would Frank have loved or hated this tribute? Its imperative we find out.
Dishaster??

Looks great! I will be going for this one to be sure; I really enjoy Chris' games to date and this one looks like another winner. In searching for a video, I discovered another unrelated O2 game titled Traffic:

Miner 2049'er?

1. Shatner
2. Hooker (as in T.J. Hooker)
3. Paramount property/Sega game
Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator
Nice work! Geez, thought I had it nailed with Phat Ho, what are the odds...

Thanks for your video DestinedCruz! With it, I can see that I only ever made it about 2/3 of the way through the first level, but that handful of 1ups early in level two looks like a good goal for me to strive for.

In the meantime I will throw one out there.
1. The most popular person on this web site (by far).
2. Another word for prostitute.
3. Paramount.
Up n' Down?
Not sure of the connection for #1, which I assume refers to Albert. #2 is for Phat Ho, the programmer and #3 - Paramount, who was involved with Sega at this point.

I had the podcast on in the car and I must have been zoning out a bit because the segment you're talking about was playing for about 5 minutes before I even realized it was an actual segment of the podcast, and not one of those British "soundbite" skit thingies they always insert into the show to pad out its length.
I did enjoy the actual "british soundbite thingies" in this particular episode; the cute kids calling in to win a contest and especially when the little girl was interacting with the talkshow guest, a soldier or mercenary of some sort: "did the man get better?"..."no sweetheart, they cleared the cave, sorry..."

Freeway
Bingo! My wife picked up a stray chicken from the side of the freeway; it's name was obvious to both of us right off.
-
Nope, not Frogger
-
OK, lets get 'er going! Hope this isn't too easy:
A- We named a pet (a stray) after this game
B- Similar to George's favorite arcade game
C- 136 ticks of the clock

Very nice! I do think think that adding vertical action would be great, but not sure in my ignorance how easy that would be. A power up like in Ninjump to provide temporary invincibility or a "hit point" would be fun as well, or perhaps a change in gravity. Hoping there will be a great fall to your death or splat sound effect when you fail. Thanks for sharing!

Heck, I get a good feeling about most of the ones I listen to, but I did have a unique experience a few weeks back. I noticed there was a new episode of Retrobits, which are few and far between. When I played it and heard the theme music start, I got an actual wave of nostalgic feeling that came over me. Is it possible that a retro podcast is now retro itself? I guess so, a quick check reveals that Retrobits will be ten years old in June. Earl needs to crank out at least one more episode for that.

Trying to finish up Borderlands 2, so I can get the new presequel.

Late to the party here; you guys already hit on the first two I thought of. The first such moment was Yar's Revenge and especially the first time I hit that bastard quotile in mid-flight, what a blast! The biggest was Metroid Prime (also my favorite game of all time) the depth of it, the music, the visuals and the genius way the controls were set up just blew my my mind. The other that comes to mind was the first time I saw Super Mario Bros on the NES. I was a die-hard Atari guy and resented the fact that Atari was down the tubes and this new console was being raved about by all the bandwagon jumpers, etc. So when I saw SMB, I knew that that things just totally changed, but it took three years for me to stop being a hater and get an NES.

Looks fun, I will check it out tonight. Although, I will admit to being a little disappointed; when I saw the thread title and the first post, my first thought was "hey, a goat is kind of like a small M.U.L.E.", but that isn't where you were going at all.....

I will agree with Vanguard and throw in Reactor off the top of my head; the music and the gameplay are wild.

I'll just keep the original wood grain system RF because it looks fantastic, and composite A/V mod my Intellivision II for convenience for LCD and travel.
This is my take, too. Granted, I am not not really picky, but of all the classic systems I have that display through RF, the original Inty looks by far the best, at least on a CRT. They also have a well shielded original cable; I used an extra Inty RCA cable to output from my 7800 and it almost felt like an AV mod as the improvement was very noticeable.

As my basic desire is just for a multi-cart to play existing games, I think I will opt for this product, mainly due to lower cost. I have nothing against the "DRM" as it has been explained for the LTO version.
I don't think it has been specifically stated, but I was wondering if the development of this board was something needed to support the production of the games who's release was delayed. If that is the case, the promotion of this ahead of their release would make sense. Or maybe just chronic multi-tasking.
Anyhow I am in, put me in the lottery.

I got it recently and like it quite a bit. I enjoyed the challenge of the navigation; you really have to let go of preconceived notions of direction (east, west, north, south) and replace those with colors. I does take a bit of getting used to before it is fun, so I can understand a lot of people not liking it, but it is just the kind of challenge I like and certainly different from anything else.

I spent a few more hours on Wiz 'n' Liz last night; I love that game!

Colecovision - I've played it, it is a great system, but with (my perception) a lack of original games. I can play most of the games another way, even if the ports aren't as good, I am happy. Somebody mentioned that most of what is good on Intellivision can be played on CV, which didn't make sense to me. Most of the Inty games that really interest me are exclusives or at least not on CV (Safecracker, Microsurgeon, Truckin, Locomotion, B-17 Bomber, Utopia and on and on...)
Studio 2 - I have just been warned off it so many times and never saw any info on a game I thought looked interesting.
Saturn - It seems like the good games are always so expensive, so I really never let myself consider it, but would accept donations gladly.
Jaguar - Just not feelin it.
I really want a Channel F, even though I know I wont play it a lot, it just has a lot of cool factor for me.

Powell's City of Books downtown is a must-see; other than that:
- Portland's food cart scene seems to be popular - http://www.foodcartsportland.com/
- Lots of hippie dippie shops in the pearl district
- Ground Kontrol arcade is downtown and quite awesome!
- If you are driving, it would be worth your time to head east into the gorge to see all the awesome waterfalls, but this will take some hours to really be worthwhile
-
I will have very little money to spend this year, but I will be there! First stop will be Charles' table; he always seems to have the weird crap I like, so I will probably be tapped out after that.

I really like Human Cannonball. I've always been drawn to games that use the mechanic of needing to judge wind, trajectory, and shot power which is why I'm a huge Worms fan.
...and also, anything where little stick figure humans go splat is always fun, so maybe that is why I like this and Skydiver so much.

Which cart am I?

Yeah, I was too lazy to work it all the way out, but I figured:
1 - The pi equation is wrong, but 10 could refer to the 10 spinning plates, pi to the circumference of the plates themselves, and you are -1 plate every few seconds
2 - disaster is a synonym for fatality
3 - I found a few references to an "expert plate spinner" named Frank
