Here's one for you - What's an Atari Macaw?
Chuck D. Head replied to Curt Vendel's topic in Atari Jaguar
Interesting. There is also an AtariAge user named Macaw who has never posted anything. Very mysterious! Are those RCA connectors? They seem bigger, like BNC's without the little nubs. -
Tandy 64k Color Computer OR Ti994/a ?
Chuck D. Head replied to OldSchoolRetroGamer's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
No I didn't, thanks. That is why I was going make a post to document everything, cause I have not found anything yet that really captures all the info you need. I will link to it here once started. Funny, I have been thinking about trying Football 2 to see how it played, only because of how shockingly well Color Baseball plays. -
Tandy 64k Color Computer OR Ti994/a ?
Chuck D. Head replied to OldSchoolRetroGamer's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
Ha Ha! Well, assuming mine turns out ok, I would have no problem putting together a few more for the cost of supplies and shipping. I will start another thread or blog to document as I go to help shame me into keeping the project going. Just want to point out that, while this looks like an easy project, I would not even have the info without the help of Official Ninja, who took the time to help me with it. Thanks Bro! -
Tandy 64k Color Computer OR Ti994/a ?

There are a lot of great games for the coco, but Super Pitfall is not one of them. I was sooo disappointed in it. On the flip side, the Super Pitfall cartridge is one that you need to make an HBD-DOS cartridge to go with the simple drivewire cable and you can use your mac or PC as a drive and load any game you want. Glad the subject came up; I have most the stuff to do this, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. -

Of course not, sorry about that. Just poking a little richly deserved fun at my pal RT. -

For what it's worth, when I took that banner back down on Sunday, I poked a bunch of holes in it, so that it will be a completely different game banner experience next time it is hung; My version of Controlled Randomness. -
Al made us work so hard today. Spiceware goo-goned labels off about a million document holders.

My kids finally enjoy intellivision
Chuck D. Head replied to mr_intv's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Shocking! Send them over to my house. After they do the dishes and mow the lawn and bathe the dog, they can have the run of my gameroom. -
I really like it. Good music and sound effects, interesting and varied visuals, good controls. It is straightforward platforming done well.

Intellivisionaries podcast ep1 now available
Chuck D. Head replied to Rick Reynolds's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
That song was great and I wouldn't imagine it would play in it's entirety often. I would love to have an mp3 of it to put in my gaming mix folder. The rest of the music was great, but it did kind of have me guessing whether a piece was original Nurmix material or game music. Overall, the show was great; looking forward to see what regular features, etc there are after the introduction phase is over. Great job!! -
Yep, plenty of $1 or less games and usually a few dealers with stacks of loose manuals to rummage through. Not as much VCS games as a few years ago, but there will still be plenty.

2 worthy video game podcasts
Chuck D. Head replied to S1500's topic in Gaming Publications and Websites
Beyond the RPG realm, there are a lot of good games with so much more depth than could be accomplished on the VCS. Off the top of my head, B-17 Bomber, Bomb Squad, Microsurgeon, Safecracker, Truckin' all have so much to them. If you were a fan of sports games (and had a second player), Inty was light years ahead. Oh yeah, and just pop in Atari's own Inty efforts (Pac Man, Defender, or Centipede) and see the difference. Of course, sometimes the depth isn't welcome, I prefer playing the dumbed down VCS versions of some games, like Mouse Trap or even Defender. I still play way more Atari, but I think that has more to do with the sheer amount of available games. -

I had that problem for a while after the site upgrade. Click the little lightswitch button at the top left of the toolbar to turn functionality back on. -
Those boards look just like a vast expanse of desert sand.....

Be careful Al, Rick has a pretty fancy Atari-logoed booster bag! Just kidding, Rick is beyond reproach; I pointed out the one you really have to worry about last year.

This list sounds like a devious attempt to sabotage my ability to make the mortgage payment in October.

My boss is from Palestine and he owns an Ikari Warriors cabinet. I bet you aren't the only one.

Well, crap. The power of wishful thinking let me believe, I guess. Just a mirage. -

2013 PRGE Live Auction
Chuck D. Head replied to RecycledGamer's topic in 2013 Portland Retro Gaming Expo
I will be interested to see what the boxed X-Man goes for and the original production art from the Mario coloring book sounds like something I would target, were I just a bit more solvent at the current time. -
Mr. Bland's Handhelds
Chuck D. Head replied to Michael David Morsette's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
Here is a YouTube video with some closer looks at these, not sure how many coincide with your set. I would love to come across the STUNRunner, APB and especially the Klax.
