No, sadly, I am ECS deficient. But I will pull myself up by my bootstraps, as god is my witness.
-
Sigh. Another club I can't be part of; hope I have money again someday. Or can I join, as long as I put a disclaimer in my signature - "0 / 5 - no ECS"?

Sonic the Hedgehog AKA Zippy the Porcupine Demo

You are not the only one. That has to be the most stressful music in gaming history. -
2013 Portland Retro Gaming Expo
Chuck D. Head replied to Albert's topic in 2013 Portland Retro Gaming Expo
Oh, I have one of those. It tells me what to do every day and sometimes it makes me forget things, like whole weeks of my life and it may have killed my cat. But mine is mint in box. -
OTON - Yet another crowdfunded console.
Chuck D. Head replied to Tickled_Pink's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Good news, I just heard from a reliable source that Kenneth Martin Dolan has been hired as marketing director for Oton, so press releases should start making more sense soon. -
As a Scramble aficionado, I would be fine with one button firing and bombing at the same time. One the arcade, I treat the two buttons as one, mashing away the whole time, only stopping when I really need to time a bomb. Not very sophisticated, I know, but it is good enough to "complete my duties" two or three times on a quarter. It know I have played one version of a game (and it may not have necessarily been Scramble) that alternated between bombs and shots every button press and that was horrible. Maybe 2600 Super Cobra? Looking forward to this, good luck!

Well, it looks like necrobump Tuesday was a rousing success!!
-
Odd to see so many old threads bumped at once, but no harm done, I suppose. Most of them aren't time-sensitive threads (like someone looking for an answer to a specific question), so an old thread seems as good as a new one.
-
no, actually most of them were good threads that got interesting responses. It just was a little strange.

According to this test page, the storefront and forums are accessible from four different locations in China. (but I could not make a link above because the post editing tools are grayed out for some reason) Here is the link: http://www.websitepulse.com/help/testtools.china-test.html

For my money: Mountain King. The graphics have a vector quality to them. Rmaerz are you fishing for necrobump trolls today?

Rmaerz is digging deep for these! As I mentioned in the other post, I bought my first Atari used in summer of '80 with money from picking strawberries. I found it in a classified ad, $150 with six or seven games, including Basketball, Combat, Surround and Human Cannonball. EDIT: Just wanted to note that, at the time, I thought this was the best thing that ever happened to me. I didn't leave my room for many days, and needless to say I didn't pick any more berries the rest of the summer.

Well, I bought my first Atari used and it came with 6-7 games, but the first one I popped in was Basketball. As far as I can remember, the first game I bought at retail was Defender, buying it from the drugstore where I worked with my first real paycheck.

One of my favorite games! One the best moments in gaming is when that big diamond comes up and you have to race after it to get the free game.

Can Someone Make A Custer's Revenge Hack?
Chuck D. Head replied to VectorGamer's topic in Atari 2600
How about hacking it into a Robot Chicken game with the Humping Robot trying to get to the washing machine? -
The NEW High Score Club S2 ~ Week 16 ~ Sub Scan
Chuck D. Head replied to Vocelli's topic in 2600 High Score Club
Maybe a week with more than one winnable game might be an option. Fathom and Pitfall II are someone easy winnable games but very hard to max the accompanying score of each. What are some others like this? -
The category search changes are going to make a huge difference to me in terms of casual browsing of the auctions. Hope the upgrade goes smoothly for you!

Heh, no good deed goes unpunished. So anyways, I just made like my second FB post ever to submit. Keep up the good work!

aha, Robin Hood takes from the poor to give to the poor! And Rick, once again I feel strangely drawn towards Waterworld, even though I know it doesn't deserve my attention. Must resist.

A Complete Odyssey 2 Game Collection
Chuck D. Head replied to mtshark7's topic in Odyssey 2 / Videopac
O2 is one where I decided early that I wasn't going to actively collect, since there was such an extensive and inexpensive multicart solution. Unfortunately, two years later and I still haven't gotten the cart.
