  1. Really happy for you!! Looks like a nice place. Kinda jealous. Cant wait to see the game room filling in.... Morgan
  2. I was frustrated too. In the past, all I worried about was trying NOT to get it. It screwed up more games than I could count for me. When I tried to get it for the bonus, I must have spent 30 minutes before getting it. Morgan
  3. I have one coming my way thanks to TopDog and I am very excited!!! Morgan
  4.  Vectrex   I had lots of fun a the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, but the highlight was that a guy (don't know his name) let me try out the 3D Imager which was very cool. If that guy is here, I really appreciate you letting me try your very valuable and breakable cool-ass peripheral... Morgan
  5. Maybe just put a little dry erase board on the cart with "Aquar" printed justified to the left side and pack with a little dry erase maker patterned after the printer pens and everyone can change the name of the cart to suit their mood?? Morgan
  6. I decided to try one more time and gained a slim (and short-lived I am sure) lead over ToyMailman for third - 251,428. I had five lives when I got to the pink screens and it went to hell quick. Morgan
  7. Well he's still talking 'cause folks are replyin'. For the record, I bear OA no ill will , but I listen to enough static at work, I'm not doing it at home. I don't mind people poking fun, but, for each time you poke fun at a person there should be a time where you compliment them, help them or ask them for help; not poke; poke; poke; poke; poke; poke. I don't know if he's having a hard time right now, or what, but as Albert, in his wisdom, provided me with an ignore option,I choose to use it. Morgan
  8. I hate to crap on your crapping thread, but I would like to announce, Old Atarian, that you are the third-ever recipient of my highest online honor - ** IGNORE ** Will someone please let me know if he contributes something of value at any point? Thanks, Morgan
  9. Dont get so excited that you forget to take pictures!!! Morgan
  10. Its all personal preference guys. If you don't get satisfaction out of repairing the hardware to keep it going and you just want to play games, go for emulation and sell your finicky hardware to someone who enjoys futzing around with it. For me the hardware is a big part of the experience; I actually enjoying getting out the 91% and cotton swabbing cart connectors and soldering bad connections, etc. Morgan
  11. Funny, I had to do the opposite last night on a few carts I was trying for the first time...I rested the end of the cart on something (in this case the loose intellivoice was handy) to get them to work... Morgan
  12. My deal with him went fine; great communication. Morgan
  13. The quotes I have been getting are right in the $200-250 range for a die that I can use with my 2 ton paper press, but that is also the same cost as an actual electronic cutter. So I opted for the cutter since I will be able to do other projects with it like creating boxes and overlays for other systems. I ordered it and it is scheduled for delivery next Thursday. I figure it will take me a couple days to figure it out and then start producing actual overlay reproductions. I think you made the right choice there. I am betting the costs wont be easy to recoup on the Aquarius project, but when you move on to the other stuff, you might be able to at least make a few bucks to help support your addiction hobby. Morgan
  14. Aquaricopia? Aquaripedia? Aquaripendium? Whatever you call it, it will be legend....wait for it...ary!!! Morgan
  15. Wow! Lots more games than I expected for this system. It sure would be cool to convert the cassette programs to audio files and put them on a cd, ala the "Stella's New Brain" project. Morgan
  16. TD, did you get any info back from either of these companies yet? Morgan
  17. It is fun. I played this far more than any rythym game since and I found the drums and mic to register exactly as I would expect them to. I didn't ever see the sequels or the Wii version, so no clue on those. Also, DK Jungle Beat is surprisingly functional as a platformer using the bongos as a controller...Morgan
  18. OK, Im in. It looks like a well though out, comprehensive product. Great job!!
  19. I prefer a plan where you do both; kind of a diversified portfolio of awesometivity!! Morgan
  20. Old Atarian has had a busy day, 46 posts so far. Maybe it's time to take a break and then go back and read what you wrote and see how someone might have a hard time even seeing it as being intentional humorous. I have seen a lot of people posting about Aquarius for a long time, with lots of enthusiasm. That includes people like me, who don't have one, but would like to.... Morgan
  21. Damn, nice work! It would be really cool to find some RF demodulator circuits that would fit into a box like that and eliminate the need for the mods. Morgan
  22. HSWWSH Bonus! Game six is making me crazy, so i will take the rest of the week off and try to fix Jr's RF connection issues. Morgan
  23. I scavenged this from the junk pile at work. It will handle switching between 12 RF systems, so it will cover a lot of my systems. everything else I have is hooked up to a composite switchbox on top of the tv. My Wii and PS2 are composite, I have no component or HDMI to worry about yet. Morgan
  24. Crap AX, 3,800 Sq feet!!! How much does 3,800 sq ft cost in TN? Anything in that range is $450K+ in this area. Morgan
  25. I got that in a lot recently. I will play it tonight and reconvene the kangaroo court Morgan
