  1. Nice score on the C=128D. BTW nice D-104 just seeing that takes me back to the days when i was into CB/Ham (still am just no hardware)
  2. That is partly because Out of this World and Flashback were both created by Delphine Software. The graphics and audio have similarities, but the presentation and controls in Flashback are more refined than Out of this World. The storylines of the two games are completely unrelated. Yeah, quite a few People get confused and think that flashback was a sequel to another world due to the similarities between them, They also do not know that flashback has a proper sequel called Fade to Black (wich I thought is a great game) buts in 3rd person rather then a side scroller. But yeah flashback is a awesome game. i have it for SNES.
  3. $45-$50 tops is all i would pay for a core Jaguar with no cables (already have them), i also have games for it, The system itself just got lost or stolen during a move. I am a collector, but being a gamer comes first. All i want the Jag for is to game on it, not to turn a profit with it. The system (or any that i own for that matter) will remain with me untill i die, unless that gets lost as well.
  4. And at the end of the day when you really look at it its just another Sonic release. To me Sonic has been done to death. I know i wont be getting it.
  5. I own the Gold cart of OoT (paid $25 for it at a family owned game/video shop). to me it was the better version other then The masters quest version for GC.
  6. Actually, Walmart.com sells used games online now. Everybody wants that cash. Yeah that they do but they do not have to rely on used games sales to remain in business is where i was getting at.
  7. Used game shops like gamestop made them who they are today. no one can stay in business for long only selling new games, they have to make money some how, used games makes it to where they can stay in business (pay the bills, buy new stocks in games and hardware). The game companies will only shoot them selves in the foot if they rid all used game sales. You cut off the income you damage a lot more then ridding the world of used game sales. Used game shops make less money they will buy less stock, buying less stock will eventually result in that game store shutting down because it will have a trickle down effect. they would have to start selling other things just to make ends meet. The only way a retail outlet can stay in business selling no used games is if they sell other stuff (like target, walmart, and so on). thats why you do not see walmart selling used games, its because they have other sources of income to allow them to buy more new games. you have to have money before you can buy new game stock. This whole thing is just a bunch of BS, first they put the blame on game pirates, now they target what made them who they are today. i can understand targeting game pirates to a extent but not this used game sales BS, they are getting too big for their pants and need to learn to not be so damn greedy. its all about greed. they want to turn a quick coin. they already made the money off the game when it was sold new. they have no reason to make anything off used game sales, they didn't do anything to sell the game used, they game store did.
  8. here is a few robotech battlecry, has some quirks about it but is a cheap and fun game to play, also a few missions are hard to pass. extreme-g III should be cheap, fun game. StarFox games others have said but i will say it again Luigi's mansion. TimeSplitters games Pikimin RE 4 is a must have
  9. Its the way they was made. there was no way other then by plugging them in to really hold them down. these machines with these types of cards wasn't really meant to be moved or bumped around. leave it sit and it should be fine. heck its the same with a IIgs, those cards can flop around really easy. you just have to combat chip/card creep by making sure they are properly seated into the socket/slot. some people used hot glue and broken up toothpick (as support, one piece of toothpick on each corner of the board) which kept it from flopping around but allowed you to remove it easily when you needed to. some put a small dab of hot glue onto the center of the chip socket to hold the card into place, but its less effective then the first way.
  10. I have been saying is for a while and people just scoff at me (on here at least). I foresee a gaming crash in the future (cant say when because the gaming industry seems strong today, but its only a matter of time if they keep going down this road and the consumers wake the hell up from what ever trance they are in . it needs to happen to snap these fools into place (i am talking about both the idiot consumers not seeing whats going on and the stupid gaming companies for doing what they are doing). A crash wont be because of the same thing that caused the gaming crash back in the day, it will be because of the gaming companies stupidity.
  11. The reason is because so many so called parents wont teach their kids anything, nor try to control what they watch or play and let them grow up to be ignorant fools who do bad things. this is why the government stepped in on some things. it was either the parent abusing their kids or just letting them do what ever they want. there are very few real parents in the world today. blame the so called parents for why the government tries to control them with laws (which also effects real parents trying to teach their kids). I am glad my mother and father was strict with me. i am glad they took the time and love to whip my butt when i did something wrong or did something that could have killed me. most of todays parents just do not care but just to gain income from welfare or other source of income because of their children. its sad really. the problem has always been bad parenting and not movies and video games. .
  12. Give it up to the 4chan F**ktards. These people need to buy a life and put their skills to real use instead of blowing it on useless crap.
  13. Repercussions from what has taken place is going to be felt for quite some time. this is not really a shock, its probably only the tip of the iceberg.
  14. for some reason that reminded me of the head melting scene in the last star fighter, If the next xbox has the issues this gen did i would only hope that red lasers of death would shoot out of the system and melt the creators heads.
  15. Yeah it just seemed rather weird that EA would say that Steam is selling illegal keys. but i am glad Valve stood by what they sold. That just goes to show you that Valve/Steam is a company that deserves your business and EA is not
  16. This is one reason why i hate when a pay service is tied into a secondary service that has nothing to do with the pay service (netflix, ESPN3, last FM needing a gold sub on live to use them as a example). it seems that PSN needs to work out that issue because there is no reason why you need to be logged into PSN to access MLB live since they do not stream the service from PSN. I can only bet they are getting a hailstorm of complaints over this.
  17. Here is the topic http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1872298 I wonder If this is real or a well made up plan to get steam to register a pirated game ? If this is true this marks a new low for EA
  18. I think things started getting better when they launched the Jasper. so far i have not heard anything go wrong with a slim other then the PSU issues of the release slim models, and the drive that can scratch a disk if someone steps too hard on the floor (which can effect most 360 models). but other then that i haven't seen any real issues that the old ones suffer from. I did run into a fluke RRoD on my Jasper when it turned around two months old due to a power fluctuation. powered it off and back on and it never happened again. Its now a year and a half old but so far all of my friends are happy with their slim 360, one of which said he caught his kid playing it like musical instrument by pressing the power button and eject button over and over. the only thing i do not like about the slim is the touch buttons. me and a friend was playing on it when his dog decided to sniff out the 360 and he hit the eject button with his nose which ejected the disk which took us out of the game. I do like the fact it has built in wifi, so far haven't seen it mess up yet with the times playing on it at my friends house. if you ask me the 360 should have had wifi built in from the start
  19. wow even more reason to play my 360, the only thing i hate is that you have to be connected to the net just to play it.
  20. This is why i buy and use those load and toss credit/debit cards or buy PSN cards or Gold or MS Point cards when i am buying anything online.
  21. http://geohotgotsued.blogspot.com/2011/04/recent-news.html quite the interesting read.
  22. Well see it takes someone that knows how to program, and that person would have to want to put the time in learning this system . so far there is quite a few people that know how to program but they either do not know about this system, or do not want to develop on this system because they are developing on another system, that's the problem. The system has potential. its sad to see that not much else was done with it other then hello world.
  23. A $200 Dell cant do the same thing as a cell CPU. look up PS3 supercomputer the cell is above a CPU and below a GPU in terms of what it can do in folding @ home. but that should give you somewhat of a ideal on what it can be used as. otherOS was the key to this. SONY screwed everyone out of their money that bought it for this reason.
  24. If everyone never messed around with anything you would not have computers, you would not have TV. you would not have the internet, you would not have cars and so on and so on. People messing around with stuff is what drives everything forward and its what gives us what we have and use today. just a thought. but when people buy something they are either going to use it for what its intended for, or mess around with it and learn about it (which is where homebrew falls under), or mess around with it for their own personal gain (pirating software, cheating in a online game). quite a few people bought the PS3 for its otherOS feature. which is another reason why SONY removed it because it was costing SONY, they was not making any money from these people in software sales. selling a console at a loss to make it up with software sales. I love homebrew, but opinions are like assholes, everyone has them.
