I'm quite confused by this question. US power is AFAIK 110 volts at 60 Hz. UK power is 220V at 50Hz. Australian is 240V at 50Hz. Somewhere around those figures. "mhz" frequency.... doesn't make any sense at all! The wall-plug pins on power adaptors are totally different between the countries. It's basically impossible to plug one into the other, and a good thing, too! Plug your 110V adaptor into a 220V power source and you'll probably have a fire. Typo

So how does this work...do we play certain games on certain days or just submit photos until the deadline? Can we submit twice on the same event? Are we limited to the number of events we can participate in?

I started this post and didnt have time to type the reason...which was the giant joysticks at the (middle and) end... I want to build one! Doesnt look too hard except for the fabrucation of the plastic parts.

Hmmm... now the only difference between US and UK power is the mhz frequency, correct? And if you were to attempt to use the wrong adaptor for your country it probably wouldnt even work.... and the tip polarity on both is probably correct (positive polarity) as using the wrong one would most likely fry your units. Im gona do some homework tonight.

Personaly I think it was a trick to get people to buy a sears game they already had as an Atari game.

Are you using stock or 3rd party power supplies? What is the mA and voltage on them? You spelled it "colour" so Im assuming they are PAL?

Id say its a mix of market data in some cases and not having certain licencing rights in others.

Have you tried changing your TVs aspect ratio? If that doesnt work try running your atari through a VCR, or using an A/V mod. I hear some DTVs simply do not translate the ataris non standard video signal properly, in that case theres not much you can do.
