Mappy was just such a huge achievement that it was really hard to compete with in any capacity! I'm surprised at Alpha Clucks, I need to give it a harder look I guess. Great job Aardvark (that was a hotly contested category for sure) and Space Game!
And a big thanks to cimmerian and his team for putting all of this together! It was absolutely fantastic!

Thanks Stan for your blessing for us to resurrect the awards show!!

Hi guys.
Some months ago I was reading about the unreleased Anteater for Atari VCS/2600 and I decided to implement my own version called Aardvark, mostly as a way to at last learn playfield graphics, it was one of my weak points as Space Raid didn't have almost any PF graphics.
Congrats on winning the Best WIP Homebrew Game nanochess!!!!

I was pretty surprised just to be nominated for Tyre Trax, to come runner up and to run the awesome SpaceGame a close second was beyond my expectations!
Congrats Muddy! Tyre Trax is an awesome game!

I wish I knew how to make good sounding sfx with the 2600

-
needs some slot machine wheel spinning sound added to it

-
Thanks for testing it! Is is good enough?
on the first round, the double guys have a flicker when they approach the left side of the screen as they go off the screen using Stella 6.0
the up and down movement has a little too much hesitation to it now IMO

I expect this to be the final version.
I added walking animation for the players. Thanks to Zero Page audience for pointing suggesting this.
Remember , games 1 and 3 are where fighters reset after a score. games 2 and 4 you keep fighting continuously. Game 5 is skills challenge.
was blocking added? (as suggested by Zeropage Homebrew)

No Touchy! (bB)
Please, final version of this. It's awesome
I second that!!!

Good idea! Now can you make the drone look a bit more realistic? Instead of all yellow, maybe black and white as on your artwork.
Also, I was expecting the drone to "tilt" as they do when they fly forward. See the DRL (Drone Racing League https://thedroneracingleague.com/ )

For those of us who don't follow the INTV homebrew scene but want to vote, is there a place to download any of these ROMs to try them out? And/or links to the gameplay of these titles???

Amazed Active Shooter was selected compared to my other Turmoil hack variations which I thought were better in theme. Active Shooter was made when there were all those school shootings in the news.
That's what the nomination committee chose over the other ones. Congrats!

Congrats on the patch!
I can't edit the main thread, but I have added it to the website!
Thanks for the link to my homebrew Volume 2 book on your site too!!

Congrats Gray Defender!!!
Finally had a good game after many hours of plugging along... Not nearly as good as Steves amazing game!
Sorry original image is not sideways!!
I uploaded a quick video of my gameplay, in case anyone is interested: (not a perfect game by any stretch..)
Congratulations Glenn!

Back in 2011 I wrote a program in BB that could control the Nintendo R.O.B. robot from an Atari 2600 and a TV screen flashes.
Here is the original thread from back them.
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/190214-i-got-my-atari-to-control-my-nintendo-rob-robot/
I recently recovered from a major PC issue, and the last thing I recovered was the source code for that project. I have always said I wanted to release it, and have it available for purchase on AtariAge. But, I don't know how to actually do that.
I would hate to lose it for real some day when it would be cool if someone else could use it for something more interacting.
Also I had/have a program that controls 3D glasses (I originally used the old Sega 3D glasses, then got some other one to test with). It cycles the screen image in sync with the glasses LCD shutter so (extremely poor) 3D images can be possible on a 2600.
If I am going to have AtariAge sell them, should I not release the source code?
contact "Albert" here in the forums - he owns AtariAge

I've not been able to reproduce this. I'll spend some time trying to reproduce it, but right now I don't know what it is.
I'm open to anyone's suggestions on how to make the functions easier. I was planning to use the bottom chip row to show a joystick indicator or maybe put it above the dealer's row and shift everything else down. I'm running out of screen real estate, so I don't have many options without dramatically changing the layout (which I don't want to do). I really wanted to avoid flicker in this game so, using the side areas isn't going to work.
Is there anyway of adding a few seconds at the end of each hand to the program where you can't press a button or move the joystick and make the program take a timeout before moving on?
