looking for the cart or the ROM?
Sorry for the old bump, but can someone with either of those NES gender-swapped games PM me? I would be a hero if I could find Donkey Kong or Zelda with a female protagonist, but xdelta is impossible for me. I could use a bit of help.

and I'm also thinking about the things I could have the screen "options" ( I have 4 in mind, one could be PATTERNS = on, off.).

That sounds awesome!! Can't wait to try it out!

That's a good idea. Or perhaps trying to work in the Arcade version's start-up tune, perhaps?
still working on this?
-
Currently, I'm working on another project. When it gets to a playable state,
what's the other title you are working on?
-
I'm sorry, but this is currently on hold.
Currently, I'm working on another project. When it gets to a playable state, I plan to come back to D.K.
bummer :-(

OK, how is this? I made it more like a Pac-Man looking game. And I fixed the bugs.
much better.......did you change the available spots were the plus would show up? it used to pop up on the outer rim a few times. this time every one of the placements were within the inside of the maze........ just wondering

So I went back and redid a few things. I can now pick the colors for the playfield and the pfscorebar. I chose green for the playfield and red for the pfscorebar, but I can change it if I felt like it without screwing up the whole game. But one thing I do want to remark is I have 0 bytes left. I still would like feedback on the score numbers. Are they ok and readable, or should I go with something else?
these are the best colors (v39) I seen out of all the versions thru bf42 - the blue and green but in this version you can hold down the button the entire game and the banana will never move
-
For those that miss the title screen music, I've added it back in.
totally messed up version......bad colors and this garbage down at the bottom of the screen

and even one of the "plus" symbols was outside the playfield (in upper left hand corner)!! The clock is counting up not down - should be the other way around.
And did I say....i hate this color scheme...........
-
Here is the latest version.
It is still a WIP, but I only have 1 byte left, but I can change stuff around. I had to get rid of the title screen music in order to fit some changes in. What do you all think?
like that you changed the square to a plus.....plays good

I would like to reserve a copy of the cartridge as well. This is a great port for the 2600 that would give Colecovision's version a run for the money. Finally, a version that would put the Coleco Donkey Kong port for the 2600 to shame. Nice job, "Where were you 30 years ago?"
I agree.........
I still want to see a double ender cart (as suggested in comment #575) with this title on one end (Joe's DK VCS) and the other end with DK Arcade 2600 (iesposta)!!!

ORB
in batari Basic
Hey Arenafoot. If you hit the green terrain, there will be a hit sound and your ship is knocked back a tiny bit, but no damage is done to your shields. Is this what you mean, or is it something else? I also think there is a place on the first level when you can go down to the next level, while coming back up, if your not to the right enough it will hit the terrain coming into the next screen.
Yeah that is what I was talking about

Just posted 0.5 of ORB (see first post).
Quite a few bug fixes in this release.
While playing v 0.6 I've notice that the game freezes for a moment when the ship runs into the terrain/green mountains at the below of the screen. It happens if you miss picking up the man with the ship. Is this normal or a bug?

Hi all, a new version available. In this version I have done some optimizations in the code, I've also added the option to change the color of the maze with the left difficulty switch (A = 84, B = 86).
I finished the title screen (although I perhaps need to adjust some things
), just missing an option screen. Great to hear that your back on it! Especially since its Pac-Man's 35th birthday yesterday too!

I must be missing something. Everyone seems to keep saying they can get the originals on the cheap.
I bought out Game Over Video Games store in Houston, TX last november, all of their Intellivision overlays at $.50 a piece. So yes, they are cheap. And I got several different Imagic titles overlays - even though I don't have the games to go with them.
-
just cheaper to buy the standard overlays then..........

My Harmony has, from time to time, stopped working.
I just had to connect it with a USB cable and re-flash the BIOS.
Still using my original SD card since I bought the Harmony.
I hope your Harmony problem isn't more serious!
Sorry I didn't have much time to help more, but I hope my tips helped a little.
are they known for doing this? I'm thinking about getting one but not if they are crashing..............

Hi guy, I love developing and remaking old Atari 2600 games.

Dragon Fire Remake : http://dragonfireoldschool.blogspot.co.at/
Those re-makes are for the 2600??

Or perhaps trying to work in the Arcade version's start-up tune, perhaps?

Hmm, i all honestly, can't say I like either change.
I'd agree.........
You don't have to change it on my account. It's your project. I can always play version "o." I know you're trying to make it more of a direct sequel to Atari's Pac-Man.

and I agree with this too. Make the changes you'd like - at least we still have the other versions to play. "To each is his own".

Run Out!
