I like the intermission screen, it works with your backstory of Theta VIII. Nice! I love it! Works perfect on the AFP, as it does on Stella 6.0.1, but when the dealers cards are turning over the players score (amount) is changing also - game bug? I will have to try it on Harmony and UNO another day when I get a chance.

Try the formatter above. Do you have the Game folder setup? It has to be a capital G in the word Game. Is your SD card an 8GB or SMALLER?

8GB is the biggest the AFP will accept.

I just checked and my ROM pack from 12/6/17, it does have the Freeway (Portable) version ROM in it (from 1/13/17) and also the Freeway (afp2player) ROM where the 2nd player uses the Select and Reset keys to move, Color selects the game variation, and first player's trigger starts the game (from 1/14/17).

But does this upgrade Stella from Stella 3.x to Stella 6.0+??? or just upgrade it to more playable ROMs on the screen?

I was working on a ROM pack for the UNO cart then got side-tracked with my 2018 homebrew book. And recently, just got a AtGames Atari Flashback 9 console (HDMI version) and started working on a ROM pack for that one too. No ETA's though. Already have the ROM pack for the AtGames Atari Flashback Portable completed and released in Feb 2018.

I just got my Atari Flashback 9 (HDMI version) the other day (half off at Dollar General during Amazon's Prime Days) and now I'll be setting up a file with "working" ROMs (original, hb, and hacks) for those of us with this system. There's no ETA on when I'll be finish with this (and my future homebrew books too). The firmware upgrade file Flojomojo posted in the first post worked just as stated in his instructions on my HDMI model.
