Just some sprites and screenshots that look like mock-ups to me. I don't assume it was any further along than that. The DC game seemed to have more work completed.

I noticed that! Found a copy for $30. That was suspicious enough, so I checked the seller's other auctions, and it was a bunch of obvious reproductions without being listed as such.

Whatever, it works for Apple.
-
Oh, but they have interchangeable faceplates.

DSi & XL had more powerful hardware over the standard DS models. It was only used for some DSi-exclusive downloads, and also to allow games to run more smoothly. Playing Dragon Quest 9 on my Lite while my wife played it on her XL, it was much choppier on my DS. This thing, though... very strange.

Just 1MB? I'll give it a shot. Full controller support? I can't shoot, and the "O" button drops out of the game. Unplayable on my Xperia R800.

The console itself looks like the top of my washing machine. Overall interface looks nice, though. I didn't know there was Roku development going on in town.

Nope, PSP had better GBA emulation. A while back I was playing through LoZ: Minish Cap on Wii (when I was at home) and PSP (on the go). Saves were compatible so it was easy to switch. goldenegg up there is correct that Mednafen ran it best on Wii, but it still wasn't as smooth as on the PSP. I assume it's down to emulator efficiency, as the Wii should be a bit tougher. But hey, remember all the PSP/Wii cross-ports back when those were current systems? They're fairly similar in power I guess.

H.E.R.O.'s fun, but seems to rely a bit too much on memorization. Maybe I'm wrong & just haven't played far enough into it, repeatedly, to find out how later levels unfold. Anyways, I played a bunch of Beamrider last night. That's probably my favorite. It's like Tempest on a five-node web. The visuals & sound are great.

Sure it is. Unless the op would care to rephrase his position in fewer than twelve paragraphs, I'm sticking with my comment. Not all modern games are 100% OP-Modern.

Philips CD-I Burning Disc images to CD?

It's basically a table of contents for the different tracks/data in the .bin file. -
Simple question regarding Genesis 2/3 AV wires
Rex Dart replied to mkiker2089's topic in Sega Genesis
Seems straightforward; what have you tried? -
This is great stuff... but such a hassle to patch individually. Great additions to one's Everdrive library, though. Plenty of good games, though most were Genesis (even 32X!) down-ports, they're still good.

Philips CD-I Burning Disc images to CD?
Rex Dart replied to max1227's topic in Classic Console Discussion
As with most other disc-based systems, burn the ISO or BIN/CUE image or whatever you have as an image file, not as one giant file plopped onto the root the disc, using ImgBurn. You probably want CD-R and not RW. -
Doubled, compared to what? The DC generates 480p output, and the VGA box is how you get it out of the DC. Compared to composite, expect jaggier (sharper) edges.

Your top five tables?

I have a couple of these. They work great for s-video and VGA.

GREAT, we'll all be dead from Robotron attacks by then.

Why marry somebody like that? -
Well lookee there; it's me, my wife, and Chris Taylor of the band "Gimmick!"
-
Well, I just got back home from this. Ran into a couple of AA members, saw Albert (you looked busy), and gave a poor showing in the Medieval Mayhem tournament. Finally got to try some of the newer homebrews at the AA station, and damn did they look nice on those modded consoles and Commodore displays. Elsewhere on the show floor, the 8-iMac LAN running Duke Nukem 3D was a neat addition. I'll probably head back tomorrow to see all the bands. Gimmick starts early!

Anyone got the PS1 SCPH-1110 flight stick?
Rex Dart replied to ComputerSpaceFan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Oh yeah? I tried that for a minute, but felt goofy leaving the left stick unused.
