  1. You'd have a lot more fun with a Dreamcast or SNES.
  2. It's crazy. It makes no sense. But there is a walkthrough out there, and if you follow it EXACTLY, it will work. Don't think you know what you're doing, don't try to take shortcuts, just follow the guide. You will install both Visual Pinball and PinMAME. Tables are here.
  3. I popped the Sega CD version in last night, wasn't too impressed. I guess it runs a little smoother than the Genesis version, but barely. And on top of that, you have all the 32bit elements shoehorned in to a system that can't do the "art" justice. I'll stick with the 3DO version.
  4. Possible. Could be the cords and/or connectors, too. Try shorting two pins (NOT at random) on the console's controller ports and see what you get. Here's the pinout from pinout.ru and a visual aid.
  5. Not in the spirit of this topic, it ain't, and neither are Rainbow Islands or Parasol Stars.
  6. Well if we're just going to name games we enjoyed in the 80s, how about Bubble Bobble compilation and Dig Dug compilation?
  7. Is Toast still a product? That's how I burned ISOs on 10.4
  8. Points in favor of cracking the PC versions just keep piling up, huh?
  9. Alright, but how often is DLC anything other than held-back or locked content in the first place? I'm thinking of MK9 here.
  10. Robotron 2084 (Arcade) Black Knight 2000 (Pinball) Indiana Jones (Pinball)
  11. If you're balking at $30 for an adapter, I don't see how re-buying each console, controller, and an everdrive is any more palatable for you. I really have no problem with the Classic Pro controller... have you tried it? Original hard drives & flash carts are great, but that's a lot of dough & even more to make them look decent on an LCD.
  12. I'm not sure that article actually says anything. What is it referring to, specifically? How are maps, characters, levels not "part of the game"?
  13. Pretty sure the 32x pulls stereo sound through the cartridge port of a Model 1, bypassing yer complaints. Also improves video, as you stated.
  14. You're not messing with European PAL carts, right? The only difference between a US cart and a JPN cart is the plastic shell. THAT is the region lock out issue. Your converter is wacky and fairly unnecessary. But what could break inside? Cheap wires, bad solder joints.
  15. Console5 charges four bucks, but check the model # before you order.
  16. And I don't. I was talking about lynx fanatics on this site.
  17. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the comment about it being state-of-the-art at the time... figured the Lynx fans would flip when I watched this.
  18. I don't see a problem with swapping a few bucks worth of caps to have a superior console
  19. Maybe those were tied up in licensing deals with Microsoft for the Xbox Game Room.
  20. $200, you say? Wii U Deluxe w/Nintendo Land Bundle @ Nintendo Store
  21. Yup. Reductio ad absurdum is lost on most people and they just wind up taking offense.
  22. You'd do best to build your own (or have one built for ya) with this many connections.
