  1. Wish I could offer to install a chip for you, but man do I hate modding PS2s. Too many wires. Still, a modchip is my #1 method.
  2. I had to play Pinbot and Bride of Pinbot last night in honor of their designer, Python Anghelo's passing (also yesterday).
  3. Found my first R9 at a used game shop over the weekend. Paid $12. I like the BOMB logo molded into the shell on the back. Wonder what this thing is worth...
  4. It's not enough for a Kindle Fire. It doesn't put out enough power over the USB port, so you need a powered USB hub or other way to inject some power into there.
  5. It's strange that should be included when Astroblast has built-in autofire...
  6. Owning none, your reply doesn't make a lot of sense to me... what is the switch for?
  7. I imagine you'd want to use paddles for that one. What does the Normal/Astroblast switch on the controller do?
  8. Don't get a Kindle Fire for games. Touchscreen games are trash. Pick up a DS Lite or GBA SP 101 and a flash cart.
  9. I don't know what cables you're looking at, but if it's a Genesis-specific cable, then it does not have S-video. Maybe you're just looking at generic RCA & S-Vid A/V cables? I don't know.
  10. Kindle Fire doesn't have bluetooth. You'd need a USB gamepad, an adapter to make it fit, a powered USB hub, and a version of Android with gamepad support installed. I think 4.0+ would work.
  11. No source code necessary; just write the game files to chips... ta-da, cartridge.
  12. There's a copy out on Usenet. It's converted for PSP, though. You can play it on PSP or convert back to PS1.
  13. I knew there was one out there "fixed" for a specific version of the MESS emulator, but I hadn't heard about a fix for the Everdrive. It's a shame the publisher is no longer interested in selling the game or even providing the demo.
  14. Nope, they have to be specifically programmed to recognize & take advantage of it. If a game has no specific support for the motion plus, it'll have no effect on the game.
  15. Some sellers will install the chip for you for a fee. Otherwise, I think the usual method is to get the chip off a donor cart like Pilot Wings / Super Bases Loaded 2 / Lock On / Ballz.
  16. They're simply dumped out into the F:\games folder, usually, so that the structure to the game's executable is F:\games\yourgamestitle\default.xbe You should be able to pop in a game disc, then go to the file manager in XBMC (or whatever dashboard you use) and copy over the files from the disc. There's no "install" really, just copy the files.
  17. I know the Everdrive MD supports 32X (and Master System) games, and I assume the superior Mega Everdrive does as well. You do still need a 32X to play the games, of course.
  18. Must have. I'm using the same one I bought 20 years ago for SF2.
  19. Sure, MAMEoX exists, but it's not maintained like CoinOps is. Still, it works.
  20. They don't have most/all of the commercial Activision-published games. Copyright/licensing, I'm sure.
