  1. I don't know what a Collectorz is, but I keep my list in an Excel file and I would certainly include demo discs. There is a (small) market for them, and they're interesting enough in my opinion.
  2. Easily one of my top 5 on the VCS. Throw the Lynx and Jaguar's libraries in there and I think it still makes top five.
  3. What, from that taobao.com link? What did you wind up paying? They look about $10 cheaper than RealHotStuff.com.
  4. No but I should've locked my games up when I was sharing a house
  5. Unless it's been licensed to the Analogue folks..............
  6. Wal-Mart... close on the heels of 1980s Circus World. Good job.
  7. Curious... does it have an s-video jack on the rear, between the composite vid & multi-out?
  8. About the same here, except I require continuity testing too. I had been using those $15 DMMs for about 20 years, keeping multiples because not all had the same features. Replaced them all with that Mastech recently. It seems to do just about everything.
  9. I bought a Mastech MS8268 from Amazon for around $30 too. Liked it so much, I bought one for my dad later.
  10. Ah... it varies. There is likely an .xbe in C:/, with the rest of the files someplace like F:/apps/xbmc C: is your dedicated system partition, E: typically holds save data in /tdata and /udata, D: is reserved for the DVD and F: is generally where l33t h4x0rz install games/emus/apps.
  11. On a drive that size, I imagine it's all in f:games and f:emu. Just peek in there with your FTP client, delete what you don't want, and copy over what you do want. Don't let the folders scare you, it's as simple as MS-DOS.
  12. It's an extra bit of specialized, nonstandard hardware that is necessary for the unit's operation. What other console has this? With an NES or VCS, just power it on, plug it into the TV with the standard cords of your choice, and you're all set.
  13. Then pay more attention, or skip the install.
  14. Less wear on the disc drive & faster loading times from HDD.
  15. Pretty sure all they've said is that it's "not supported", meaning they won't help you solve it if you plug one in and it doesn't work 100%.
  16. Original original Xbox, right? If it has a "blades" interface, that's not standard, so it sounds like it's running XBMC in place of a dashboard. If so, that's my preferred setup, and I would stick with that. You should be able to find the system's IP address in the menus and connect to it via FTP; they're usually set up to have the username/password as xbox/xbox.
  17. This auction (currently $7.99 / not mine) appears to include the Multi Media Master CD.
  18. Shooters: Gleylancer MUSHA Panorama Cotton Phelios Trouble Shooter Vintage / Battle Mania Daiginjou Twinkle Tale Undead Line Action/Platformers: Aladdin Dynamite Headdy Kid Chameleon McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure Misadventures of Flink Pulseman Revenge of Shinobi Ristar Rocket Knight Adventures (& most of Konami's games, really) Shinobi 3 Tinhead X-Men 2: Clone Wars
  19. I got it for ~$10 when Best Buy was clearing it out. Hard as **** to play on a standard 3DS! The circle pad is terrible for capcom fighters, but the placement of the d-pad requires a thumb-cramping death pinch to support the system's weight and control your character at the same time. You must have an XL. Meanwhile, the wife is playing Dark Souls II on the PS3, so the 3DS is freed up again. I need to try to finish either Link Between Worlds or Shinobi 3D.
  20. Pretty rare. Is "scarce" the word? The prices are due in part to the fact that it's a decent game, too.
