  1. I'm not sure if I feel like hard modding a PSP battery or not. Which seems to be the only way to mod a PSP Slim if you don't have a Phat handy, which I don't.
  2. Wow things must've really changed since I last looked into things.
  3. I was born in 88, and while I do love Atari 7800 and of course the beloved 2600.. my main niche is NES and SNES.
  4. Maybe you'd be willing to sell me a battery? I don't feel like buying a Phat just to do that and uh, I don't have any friends with PSPs.
  5. I'm willing to pay what needs to be paid for the Slim + Firmware - the slim has more memory and thus better for homebrew.
  6. Okay, let me prefix this as saying.. I'm being 100% genuine when I say I'm NOT interested in piracy. I'm extremely interested in homebrew applications.. the homebrew scene is the reason I'm even remotely interested in a PSP.. Okay - with that said.. does anyone have any good resources for how to install custom firmware on a PSP Slip easily? All the websites and YouTube videos I've seen were done by 14 year olds who couldn't type or speak very well. I'm a very computer savvy person but a lot of the resources for this stuff are just plain awful. So if anyone has any good links, videos, programs, etc. Please let me know in this thread, I'm CONSIDERING a PSP and the quality of being able to use my PSP for such reasons will determine if I get one.
  7. Buying a Hyperscan system now is like paying $1 for $100. They are selling Hyperscan at the Wal-Wart near me right now for $40.00. So you're saying I should jump on one because one day I can turn around and sell it for $4,000.00 ? Who knew they were gonna be in such high demand. The only thing I ever bought at that Wal-Mart was lube.. nevermind.
  8. I don't currently have a DS Lite, so I would send the money for the modder to buy the system with _or_ just buy it and send the DS to them.
  9. I highly recommend.. Kirby: Canvas Curse Super Mario 64 New Super Mario Bros. Yoshi Isand DS Both Castlevania games for DS I'll have to check my collection for more personal recommendations!
  10. Can't you load roms off floppies with these units and play the games directly on the SNES itself?
  11. Okay, I've found myself a job and want to buy a few gaming items before I have to dedicate my money towards school.. I _really_ want a case modded Nintendo DS Lite.. if anyone out there would be willing to do this.. I would paypal you the money for the following. Nintendo DS Lite Case Labor Shipping We can negotiate what you'd want to charge for labor, I'm willing to pay for good work. I should be able to send the money in 2-3 weeks time, I figure it'll take me that long to find someone who is willing to do this anyways.
  12. I've seen those commercials on tv. You really think they'll be worth money?
  13. Man, there's a lot of future really rare games that can be had for cheap right now! There's some DS games that were released in japan only to club members and I'm trying to snatch them up before they explode in price. Anyone else started doing this?
  14. I wouldn't say these or either USED or NEW.. more like.. opened. My mom bought these for my brother and he opened them before realizing they were the wrong model. http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-High-Antenna...S/dp/B0002F3E9M I will beat Amazon's best price by $15 and charge $26 per antenna.
  15. Yeah, it really is a great drive. I would use it to back up my photography if this hadn't happened. My loss can be your gain.
  16. Okay, some of you know that my mirror got effed up on my drive home last night.. so now I need money to fix it. My mom got me an external DVD burner for Christmas that I didn't quite need, nor did I ever get DVDs for. So it's never been opened. It's 100% new, it's just been sitting next to me since the 25th. It was bought at BestBuy. http://storage.digitalmedianet.com/article...e.jsp?id=130503 That is the exact model. I will take $20 off and ask $100 for it and $8 for shipping.
  17. Quoted for truth. I'm about as hard to offend as it comes.. but I've always kind of felt that AA is "too good" for some things, and this is one of them. I guess it's kind of like when in movies mob hit men always respect their mothers, despite being ruthless thugs. Some things you just don't mess up.
  18. Not to be rude, but this isn't Neo-Geo.com. It's AtariAge.com and we respect people here.
  19. That's exactly what I was hoping..
  20. If you don't get Metal Slug, you fail at life.
  21. It must be a cultural thing: here in North America, the term 'Japs' is considered extremely derogatory, and well worth a punch in the face. well the north america I live in, I would say it's quite the opposite, mabye in the 50's, but you hear it all the time on radio, tv, etc Japanese refered to as Japs, like Jewish faith refered to as Jew or Jews. What would the plural of Japanese be? Japaneses? Japanesi? Japs? No plural? Please refer to my post. Would it REALLY be so much of a hassle to type "Japanese" as to avoid insulting an entire race of people?
  22. It must be a cultural thing: here in North America, the term 'Japs' is considered extremely derogatory, and well worth a punch in the face. Yeah, I've dealt with that a lot. Some people genuinely don't know "jap" was used during the war as a derogatory way to insult the Japanese.. but don't seem to understand that ignorance doesn't mean it's OKAY to say it. That's like me saying "Oh, I didn't realize the "N" word was used to oppress black Americans for over a hundred years.. I guess it's okay for me to use it!"
  23. Alright, this website is the only place I can seem to find this series of video games for the GBA/DS that were never released in America called "Densetsu no Stafi" (The Legend of Stafi) - and I REALLY want to be able to get them with the Christmas money I got.. but I've never dealt with them before. If anyone here has bought from them, please let me know how they are!
