  1. Lame. Let me re-phrase that. Lame because of the price. Now.. If it was a bunch of re-writes of those games or maybe a new collection of brand new games, then.. well.. HEY! Not so lame.

  8. The shipping isn't too bad considering. I'm ok with the exchange rates as well. Most of the games in the bunch are good titles.

  11. Hey gang. It's been a while since I've posted on here but I have this problem now and so here I am... I fired up the old heavy Sixer and it no longer works. The only thing that displays when I turn it on now is a black screen. What's the problem? How can I fix it? I assume it's a fried TIA but I'd appreciate hearing from any of the experts. Thanks in advance.

  19. It doesn't matter which system sells more. It's not about performance either. Consoles need killer apps. No killer apps = no sales. To me, Switch has the potential to bring back an era of killer apps. The focus should always be on multi player, simultaneous enjoyment. This console looks like it's purpose is to create sociable gaming. Lame marketing aside, Switch looks very fun.
  20. The new Mad Max film? Very good. The new Ghostbusters film? Not so much.

  21. We had a 2600, I was first introduced to Atari in '82. I never owned a 7800 back in the day. My brother and I were given a Gyromite NES for Christmas in '86. I played on the NES and would also play on the 2600 up in my room by myself. I remember being able to play one game of 2600 Mario Bros for many, many hours in one sitting. Atari was always cooler to have because everyone had one and it was way easier to trade games.
  22. Looks cool. The next logical step in console gaming. Bring on the games! I like how it appears to be to focussing on playability options.
  23. I suppose not. It's not the first time I've seen it around here. Mind you, it's been a very long time. These appear to have been much more readily available in Canada for whatever reason.
