OK. I admit that I am wayyyy-y-y-y out of touch when it comes to this topic but I do eventually find some of it interesting.

 

Lets be tactful and diplomatic then... Regardless of all alleged legalities, anyone who deliberately hoards or does not share classic Atari games that are known to be a one of a kind item (i.e. unreleased prototypes like 7800 Electrocop), especially when they know that there are collectors that would appreciate owning a copy, is a ninny and a poor sport.

If it weren't for collectors (greedy ones especially), we probably wouldn't have half of the cool shit that we do.

Hey gang. Most know me as an Atari fanboy but I recently picked up a Gamecube and am now looking to pick up a few good titles. So far I have Metroid Prime (wicked BTW) and Sonic Gems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Here are the kinds of games I like:

 

- spaceship shooters or shooters where I am flying and shooting

- arcade action games

- driving games

Yeah, I'm still looking for a NTSC CIB Glacier Patrol myself. I saw that auction but didn't feel like taking a risk on a potential PAL cart out of Canada. Good deal for you!

 

 

Strange that you would get any PAL carts from Canada seeing as we solely utilize the NTSC standard.

What ruins the hobby is the fact that the older good stuff is getting more difficult to acquire at a reasonable price (see: supply and demand). The professional sellers are mostly collectors too as far as I can tell. I do think that it is rather strange for someone to actually make a living from selling used video games though but hey.. Whatever works for you, dudes.
