Hey. I am a re-seller if I see something I know is in demand and I don't want it. Ususally I would prefer to trade it first but I will attempt to sell it if no one is interested. Here's a poll for everybody: Who here believes that anyone who spends more than 15 minutes per day on ebay probably suffers from at least one mild mental illness?

Obviously Miyamoto is not gay but is it just me or is he one hell of a fan of psychotropics? Man, he had to have been smoking something potent when he invented some of the characters that he did.

What ruins the hobby is the fact that the older good stuff is getting more difficult to acquire at a reasonable price (see: supply and demand). The professional sellers are mostly collectors too as far as I can tell. I do think that it is rather strange for someone to actually make a living from selling used video games though but hey.. Whatever works for you, dudes.

I found that the joypad lead to the console tends to crap out. I have had two of these do this to me in 4 years. Not sure if it's shorting out or what.

Uh.. Cool. Certainly it must be difficult to make the time for this sort of thing but it sure would be nice to see a brand new game for the 7800. I totally understand that some people may not want to say anything until their projects are finished.

Understood. I knew that. Still seems strange for one to be that successful with it. In reference to the topic: I would be mad too if I knew that someone else would sell the game they just bought from me for more money that I just sold it to them for. Honestly though, I don't usually give the resellers a chance with my prices so it's not likely I sell much to resellers very often.

I wish I would have kept the Title Match Pro Wrestling box and manual I traded to MegaManFan last year. Oh well..

How is that it's like selling things for crack? I suppose it all depends on what your selling and ow much you sell it for I would love to know what some of these resellers are making on an annual basis. My remark was intended to be seen as sarcastic. I doubt it funds more than a modest crack habit. My ebay sales only suppliment my collecting expenses. I doubt that I could ever devote enough time to it to actually make a living from it. Can anyone else say that they are making a decent living off of ebay sales (i.e. makes $50000 a year by selling used video games)? I would love to hear about it.

Ebay is not capitalism. It's more like people selling things for crack. Take care.
