Game Production for the Flashback 3...
birdie3 replied to atwwong's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
What is this? Never heard of it. Is this a sequel to Castle Crisis? -
Cool!! I felt bad for not saying anything at first and then I remembered that you said you have been working on this for a month and a half so I figured I had better say something. The only thing I thought was that perhaps the theme could be changed to something more interesting like a thief attempting to escape with a time limit or plumbers trying to escape as water slowly fills the basement. Nice work!!

Word!! Please don't be offended by anything I said. I am in the exact same mindset here ghsqb and Jacob. It's just so rare to see someone actually sell games for that price and be OK with it. -
People always unload their collections just before Christmas and also just after Christmas in January. You wait and see. Trust me.

It's odd that someone would sell some of the rarer Colecovision games like that on here for $3 a pop and not seem to have a clue or care about what they are actually perceived to be worth to the online video game collecting community. I bet one could easily resell for example the Colecovision Mountain King, Tomark The Barbarian, Robin Hood, and Blockade Runner carts on ebay for at least $20 - $50 each depending on which one it is. Will anyone admit they were actually looking to buy any of these to keep in their collections? -
Downloaded HOM3. Seems cool for the most part but I am having troubles figuring out how to change colors. I read all of the instructions but I couldn't figure it out as quickly as I would like. Thanks again for the link.

OK. So they are not a direct match. I guess it doesn't matter. I just need to replace them with a more duarable wire.

One literally has to be here the second a thread like this starts in order to get in on the action. It's usually a very hard thing to do. Someone got a good deal on those Colecovision carts. -

Direct4 games had rumored or prototype 7800 games in stock?
birdie3 replied to 8th lutz's topic in Atari 7800
Why doesn't some one email these folks and get this information confirmed? -
I finally decided to try my hand at 2600 graphics hacking. Cool stuff. Can anyone tell me if there are any hacking tools for A8/5200 ROM's?
-
You sure about that?
-
I think it's supposed to do that in a certain mode (Ultra?). BTW - This game is absolutely frikkin' wicked dude!! Sign me up for a copy for sure. Nice work!!

This looks awesome!! Please put me down for a copy as well. Thanks!!

It seems as though the console leads on the 7800 joypads (not the Proline coffin shaped sticks) are really cheap. I recently left a pair in storage for about a year and when I took them out to use them today, both pads have shorts in their leads. I would like to replace these with a more durable wire to be taken from something with the same pin outs. Can anyone suggest a good if not the best candidate to take these replacement wires from? Thanks in advance.

I almost forgot.. BOSCONIAN for the Colecovision (or A8)!!!
-
Just ask someone to burn you the corrected ROM and replace it into a IM cart.

Karate Champ for the Colecovision!! OH YEAH!!!!!!

The whole "My video game collecting cock is the longest" theme that this thread seems to be headed in is pretty cheesy. If you think that I am a poseur, uniformed, or whatever for my somewhat out dated topic.. My apologies. I can on the other hand totally see how I am somewhat entering the scene too late and to say something like what I have is a bit passe and socially retarded. I guess the other thing that can be learned here is that collecting for this specific era was prime quite a number of years ago and it definitely sucks in more ways than one as of late. Thank God for homebrews and hacks!!
