Most XE carts are rather difficult to find!
birdie3 replied to birdie3's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I've heard that from other members. Lord Chaos is the man for HTF XE stuff. Thanks for the heads up Shannon. I know it's from Germany but why would that take so long to ship? -
My Wico Bat joystick works good but I thought it would be better to take it a step further with a one fire button joypad.
-
Does anyone know if these exist? They would be perfect for Colecovision games that only require one fire button.

Already asked. It took two or three emails before I got a non-dodging-the-question type of answer. Video 61 says that it is a repro of a 16k proto that they found at Atari back in the day. It's not the 64k XE version. They said that XE CC is hard to find and they wouldn't part with it unless it was really worth it. -

Yeah. My bid didn't go through because some wise guy bid $21.87 and I bid $21.00. I ALMOST had it. Damn it! I've got a better one for you: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...egory=3537&rd=1 I almost puked when it was sniped. Like I said... should have bid higher. -

I keep learning that I need to bid higher, money wise that is. -
Recently I have attempted to win some of the stuff I am looking for and I am sniped every time. Aside from ebay, there doesn't seem to be any place that sells some of the games I am looking for (Karateka, Crystal Castles, Into the Eagle's Nest etc..). I have contemplated placing an order for some loose carts from B&C as they seem reasonabley priced and they have a few of the games I am looking for. Does anyone have any tips on where to find some of the better XE carts games aside from ebay?

I am sorry if that was cruel but I will likely bundle it into a big lot of games if no one trades with me. -

Rygar is fairly common I think. I probably will put Tennis ebay if I don't trade it. Thanks for the offer though. -

Yes it is the Activision version, not Real Sports. I am looking to trade the carts I have or trade/buy the carts I mentioned I am looking for. Do you have any of the items I am looking for? -
Please have a look and let me know if you need anything. Thanks for looking!!

Does anyone have screenshots of the supposed ending for Solaris?

General question about Canadian postal service.
birdie3 replied to highinfidelity's topic in Auction Central
Canada Post are the assholes. They make trading and selling games through the mail not fun at all. It costs me $7 CDN just to ship one lousy cart from Ottawa to Toronto. They are usually pretty quick within Canada but I am not sure why it would take so long to get a parcel in the UK. -
I am so curious now as to what the contents would look like. If someone here buys it they should post the money shots.
-
No. A heathen you may be just for owning the thing but opening it is not proof of that. A barbarian would eat the contents but alas as I am only a mere observer admidst all of this disugustingness. I would say that one would put many people at risk of fatality if that can were opened. Any way you look at it, that's just freakin' gross man!!
-
I think that there is probably a warehouse full of that stuff somewhere because no one would ever have bought that shite back in the 80's. The most evolved maggot known to mankind (probably looks like a Pac Man of sorts) likely once resided in that can.

I would think that you could hack any code to have unlimited lives or whatever else you need. I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to do that though. This seems to defeat the purpose of playing an Atari game IMHO.

I own the disk version of International Karate... waiting for it in the mail.

No remorse - 1983, Kill 'Em All!!

Oh. Just trying to be helpful. Good luck!

I stole it for one of my six switchers. I just need to figure out which one I put it into.

I have had and fixed this problem before. You have blown one or both of the resistors in the controller. You didn't try using the contoller in a Colecovision before this happened by chance did you? That is how I wrecked my 7800 Joypad. I soon after replaced both resistors and my 7800 Joypad worked again. Let me know how you made out.
