  1. White ball or black ball? Which 2600 games does this thing work for? Also, what other Atari systems and games can I use this for?
  2. Which version? I really only like the C64 version. I can only get as far as Saturn as well.

The 32 in 1 would have been nice or maybe Tempest or Black Widow (something new to the home consoles). A killer app like SMB but something done Atari style like Toobin' or something. Does any one know if I am able to just replace the stock 7800 BIOS chip with one of these Asteroids chips or do I have to mod the board in any way?? Sounds like a cool little thing to add to a 7800.
  4. Hey!! Aren't you the guy who put an ad in the paper and a month later had all of the American released NTSC Atari 2600 games??
  5. These are all great suggestions. Thank you to every one!! As a player who is relatively new to the Atari 8 bit scene, I can definately say that these types of sites are quite useful in helping me decide what I will persue in terms of a library. Hopefully prices and availability wont change too much when the Atari Age 8 Bit Rarity Guide hits.
  6. So is there a different variation of the TIA that is designed specifically for the 7800? I am assuming the 2600 TIA and the 7800 are not the same thing.
  7. Here is my trade list: http://www.cgcc.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=114 Feel free to ask me questions. Thanks for looking!!
  8. I pulled a TIA out of my healthy spare parts 7800 and put it in my 2600 to replace a defective one. The 2600 now works fine. I pulled another healthy TIA from a 6 switcher and put it in my spare parts 7800 and all I get is screen garbage. When I put the old TIA back in the 7800 - it works again. Same with the other TIA. Works in the 2600 but not the 7800. Are these all the same chip or is there something I am missing here?
  9. What in the hell...? Why would this person sell this?? That's NUTS man!!
  10. Xenophobe is best on the 7800. The sound sucks though.
  11. I can't get past hole 6 for all of the chaos on the screen with green ninjas and spitting toads. If you could kick and jump at the same time it would be so much easier. Ninja stars help but there must be something I am missing. Any suggestions out there??
  12. I forgot to mention Basketbrawl too!!
  13. Good 7800 games: Midnight Mutants Ballblazer Food Fight Mean 18 Joust Xevious Xenophobe Commando Any other thoughts?
  14. Are you Klassiche Videospiele?? Please send me a PM if you are. Thanks.
  15. Either way... I have played other versions of QIX and I thought that the 8 bit version should have been the quintessential version but apparently not so (at least according to my standards). The sound and graphics seem to be a tad off from what I was expecting. The game play is okay but the moving dynamics of the QIX seems a little wonky compared to say the arcade version or even the Gameboy version. I am also trying to find an 8 bit version of Tempest or a clone but I have yet to discover one.
  16. The one I have (400 version) is brutal. Is there a 5200-like version?
  17. I did not know that this board had a way of telling you whether the message I sent had been read or not. I know now that anything in Outbox means it has yet to be read by the recipiant.

  19. Does anyone know of any sites that review Atari 8 bit games?
