  1. Yikes!! Haven't been here in a few weeks. Please resereve #160 for me. Thanks!!
  2. Like a vegetarian Canadian? (WARNING: OFFENSIVE REMARKS) Ha!! I am not offended because it's so fucking true. I see them all the time. At first you think it's a man but then you look again and it ain't no man. It's a woah-man. Sometimes you see them with their matching twin haircut (mullet) same sex spouse. You try to understand.. And then you upchuck as visions of disgustingness enter the mind. I think you're reading MUCH more into my dopey little joke than intended. Random, was making a butch lesbian joke but I was kind of turning it around a bit. Mullets are sometimes called "hockey hair" and since many Canadians are fond of hockey, I brought up Canada. The vegetarian part was because he said she hates sausage which is usually made of meat. I know what he meant but I was trying to be funny by playing dumb, I wasn't actually insinuating anything about anyone's sex preferences or Canadians or even tool belts. well I thought it was funny before it had to be explained, oh well... There is no try. Only do or do not.

  4. I eventually bought this for $15 USD loose if that tells you anything.
  5. I am with ya there, bro. Totally agree. Let's see some of this amazing Atari Age talent put together a rockin' new game instead of all of these ports and conversions. We need new games!!
  6. Has anyone else played Daniel Bienvenu's Jeepers Creepers for the Colecovison? If so, let's start a discussion about it. Honestly, this is one of the more impressive Colecovision homebrews ever put out IMHO. Digitized voice sound effects, very impressive graphics, addictive gameplay.. Good shtuff!! I am wondering though.. Does the game have an ending?
  7. I agree. We got this game for my son for Xmas and he played it once, said "it's too hard" and hasn't touched it since. We were actually thinking of emailing the developer and telling them that we thought that this game is very disappointing. It really is virtually unplayable. The controls are almost non-responding in some places and extremely frustrating. The game looks good graphically speaking but the controls are the absolute worst I have ever seen. Here is our list after Christmas: Raving Rabbids II Mario Galaxy Wii Play Wii Sports Counter Force Offroad Extreme - Special Edition Boogie
  8. Has anyone been to this galaxy or cleared it yet? The only reason I ask is because it only seems to appear every once and a while and after you die, one's ability to travel to it disappears. I have only been to it once and found it to be somewhat difficult in comparison to most worlds I have bee to so far. Here is a description of what it looks like: Moving floors with various shaped holes, moving electric fences, and vintage mario music playing in the background. Extremely difficult.
  9. Now that the Wii has been on the market for a little over a year, I am curious to hear what other people think are the absolute "must have" titles for the Wii. Please list a few in your response and perhaps add a few words as to why these games are "must have" titles. Obviously The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy will be mentioned but how about some of the lesser known titles as well. Thanks in advance!!

Why do I get the strange feeling that someone is coding it as we speak?
  11. Hello and welcome to Atariage. Please post a link to your auctions when you have them set up as I am sure there a few collectors on here that would be more than happy to provide a good home to these rare games that you have found. Regarding the rarity of Zaxxon, Atarimania lists the Atari 8-bit (not to be confused with the 5200 version which is indeed somewhat rare) version of SEGA's Zaxxon cartridge as an R8 but I as I am sure many others have found that this cartridge is much more common than this. Fortunately for collectors, the price of Atari 8-bit computer games is generally determined quite heavily by demand regardless of actual/perceived rarity or ebay closings. Can anyone confirm whether Matterhorn is actually a fun game to play? Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure.
  12. RSTR* is also a very serious disorder. Hopefully something can be done about it. * = Random spastic thread responding C'mon people. Collecting sealed Mythicon games is a form of mental illness. Who's with me here?
  13. I only collect the games that I want to play and am interested in actually enjoying. So far that is about about 140 or so VCS games. I have owned upwards of 250-300 at one point but I ended up getting rid of the ones I thought were pure crapola. This is my collecting philosophy. Between the 7800, 2600, and XE I have about 300 carts or so and these are ALL games that I will play from time to time. That strange OCD eccentric collector mentality has never struck me as useful. letès face it folks here. There arguably are many VCS games that are garbage and are not worth owning.
  14. Bumpiness. Wasn't too sure if this was still a sought after title. Anyhoo... Looking for Atari 800, 2600, 7800, and Colecovision carts. Please send me your lists if you are interested. Thanks for looking!!
  15. Secret Quest and Solaris come to mind. We are talking Atari only here, aren't we?
  16. Please send me a PM if interested. Cheers!!
  17. Unlimited lives in VCS H.E.R.O.. Try frying the cart and then letting the time run out. Coolness.
  18. I like the 2600 version myself. Have yet to try the Atari 8 bit version. Which is best?
  19. OK. Another question. How different is the AtariAge official release cart versus the last ROM file posted by kenfused from last year?
  20. Here's a question: Which Beefdrop is better in terms of gameplay? The 8-bit/5200 version or the 7800 version?
  21. This may very well be the most anticipated classic video game homebrew ever. You do realize that, eh Eduardo? Many of us here have been waiting years for this and it looks like it's finally coming together. If this is one of the unofficial lists, please reserve a copy for me as well. Thanks!!
