Bump.
-
I already mentioned this in another thread, but I would be as giddy as a schoolgirl to see a nice turn-based RPG on the 7800. A true RPG on an Atari console is such a rarity that it would be a welcome addition to the system's library.

Still looking for a floppy drive. Every seller I have contacted about one has been a dead end.
-
Yeah, but you already bought all of that guy's interesting games!

Gamecube kiosk at Goodwill Saginaw, MI
lisalover1 replied to Uzumaki's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I agree X3. All I can assume in my area is that waffles are a delicacy, because I find 15,000 different style of waffle makers. The best video game sighting I've ever seen at goodwill is Pokemon Red for $2.99. My GW location always brings in the weirdest stuff. Chinese Famiclones, broken wireless controllers, and a mountain of confoundingly complex computer steering wheels and joysticks/flightsticks. But, they always overcharge ($20 for a USB controller!), so even if you do find something good, it won't be cheap. -
I am looking to trade for or buy an Amiga 600 computer. Nothing fancy, just the unit itself, the necessary cables, and maybe a few games. Send me a PM if you have an offer.

So, anyone have any cartridge games for sale?
-
Popeye? I was certain that Popeye was a digital-control conversion; are you sure?

I just recently got a Commodore 64, and I am quite new to the retro computing scene, so I was wondering if I could get some questions answered. First off, what is the easiest way to run roms on a C64? From what I hear, there are some really impressive tech demos and homebrew games for the system, and I want to be able to play them on my C64. Second, on a related note, if I have a floppy drive for the C64, can I just put a C64 rom onto a floppy disc on a Windows machine and it will play on the C64? Or does the system take a proprietary floppy disc format?

The 5200 is often mocked for its controller, but what about the games that actually made good use of its analog capabilities? I always considered the 5200 version of Pole Position to be my favorite because of the excellent controls. Were there many other games that used the control method effectively?

Well, I just scored myself an excellent-condition Commodore 64 computer today, and for a good price [$44!], so I need some games for it now. I don't have the floppy drive, so I can only play cartridge games as it stands... Actually, let's add a C64 floppy drive to the WTB list, while we're at it. So, any cartridge games or a floppy drive with games would be great.

Bump. Still looking.

Not a single person out there has an Amiga for sale?
-
I am looking for any of the following computers/game systems: Amiga 500, Amiga 600, Amiga 1200, Amiga CD32. I want to get one of these for as cheaply as possible, with only the essential configuration, if possible. Any takers? I also am open to trades.

Okay, I have a bit of an odd request. I bought Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the Xbox 360, because I was unable to find the PS3 version. But, since then, I have decided that I will be taking my PS3, not my 360, to college, so I want to get the PS3 version now, instead, and preferably want to trade the 360 version for it. Does anyone have this game for trade? The game is practically new; I only played it once, maybe twice, and was bought new. I may be willing to include something else in the trade, as well.

Great review. I have tried many times to get into Phantasy Star. Whenever I pop it into my Master System, the title screen music invites me into a world of adventure and wonder, and I feel like I can take on the universe! Then I get killed by an owlbear in two hits. That is usually where I stop. Seriously, how do you beat those things?

I'm looking for a GP2X handheld homebrew system, but I want the model with the joystick, which is the F100, or the F100 MK2. I also want to get one for as cheaply as possible. I certainly will not pay over $80 for one, considering that the newer Caanoo is available for just a bit more. Any takers?

Bumping again for the off-chance that someone has a Gizmondo they want to sell.
-
Hello? Anyone out there with a Giz they need to rid themselves of?
-
Yeah, yeah, I know the Gizmondo is one of the hated consoles of all time, but I still am interested in the little handheld. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to part with? I would be willing to trade a boxed PSP-1000 for one. The Gizmondo doesn't need to be in great condition; in fact, it can only be the console and charger if that is all you have. I just want to get it for cheap.

3D Jaguar? N64? Xbox? Oh my........Best thing I've ever bought! EVER!
lisalover1 replied to MAYAman's topic in Atari Jaguar
That sounds like an awesome TV, but it is ridiculously expensive. Maybe the feature will be carried over to cheaper models later on. -
THIS. To put it simply, Atari needs RPGs. That is the one genre that every single Atari system is gravely lacking in.
-
I would be on that like ugly on the CD-i. And I don't even like Survival-Horror games. I would love to see PS1 ports on the Jaguar CD; maybe a few JRPGs. That's what the Jag REALLY needs. [imagine how far people's jaws would drop if they saw Final Fantasy VII running on the Jag!]

New prototype cartridge with special feature inside
lisalover1 replied to Fadest's topic in Atari Lynx
Well, that settles it. The Lynx will soon have the best version of Marble madness available on any platform. -
Just bought some Lynx games from TrekMD, and they arrived with timewarp-esque speeds! Would definitely buy again!
