  1. I got a Lynx a few days ago, but the only game that came with it was California Games, so I want to get some more titles for the system. Really, I just want anything, as long as I can get them cheap. But, there are a few games that I am interested in: Chip's Challenge Blue Lightning Hard Drivin' Basketbrawl Battle Wheels Hydra Ninja Gaiden III Raiden Anything to show the capabilities of the system, really. I know that many of those listed titles are pretty popular, so I'm willing to pay a bit more for a lot with several of them.
  2. So, I could just get this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220698772855 and this: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 390254792725 along with the Genesis SCART cable I already have, it should work on my NTSC TV?
  3. You can get RGB, that's what the SCART RGB cable gets. However it's low rate (15Khz) RGB which means nearly every monitor you are going to find (unless they are ancient CRT based ones like the C1084s) is not going to be able to handle the signal properly. Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. So, what do you have in your Genesis SCART setup?
  4. I could have sworn that I heard that you could get RGB via VGA from a Genesis/32X. I know about the SCART option, but it is just so expensive, and you need so many components to make it work, that I am looking into other methods first. Well, if it is the recommended way, then could you let me know what parts you used? I already have the Genesis SCART cable, but I can't find a SCART audio passthrough anywhere.
  5. I'm interested in modding my Genesis/Sega CD/32X setup with a high-quality video connection, so I am looking for someone to mod my 32X with VGA, S-Video, or Component-out. Please PM me with any offers you may have.
  6. No, it isn't. Most significantly, the Jag can't render textured polygons nearly as fast as the 3DO. Just look at or Blade Force. Compare with and Skyhammer, both considered some of the Jag's better-made games. These sort of fanboyish, technically ignorant statements don't help anybody. Exactly. Compare the graphics of Cybermorph to Star Fighter. Don't get me wrong, I like the Jaguar, but the 3DO was just a more powerful machine, speaking practically.
  7. Nope, Afraid not. There was a 2600 emulator in development but it was never finished. A retro Atari Emulator on a retro Atari console?
  8. While I do agree that a western console needs a western mascot, the effort is certainly appreciated. A mascot doesn't have to be official, and have official games for a console, especially if a console has no real mascot to speak of; it just needs to be the personification of the console. I would love to see one of your mascots put into a homebrew Lynx game, though!
  9. I'm looking to find an Atari Lynx and a couple [5+] games for a good price. Either a Lynx model 1 or 2 will be fine. Please PM me with any offer you have.
  10. Yeah, I know; it was a mistake when I was typing.
  11. A JRPG for the Lynx? All is right with the world. The RPG was one genre Atari consoles were seriously lacking in, so any effort towards filling out that huge gap in the game game library is greatly appreciated.
  12. I was able to find the guides for Persona 3 & 4, and Golden Sun 1 & 2, but I still really want the rest. Accepting all reasonable offers.
  13. I am looking to buy an Amiga CD32 and the Keyboard module. I would be willing to buy one without the module, though.
  14. I'm looking for an NES Powerpak flashcart, obviously used. I don't need a CF card with it; I'm trying to get it as cheaply as possible. I'm looking to spend about $90-$110 for the cart, so PM me if you have one for sale.
  15. It truly baffles me why we don't see more Ninja Sports games these days. Imagine the possibilities! Ninja Lacrosse, Ninja Laser Tag, Ninja Debate, or even a hack of Summer Games, to make it into Ninja Olympics!
  16. That's amazing, it looks like a Master System, for crying out loud! Are pre-orders up for this module yet?
  17. I'm probably going to be getting my hands on a Starpath Supercharger for my 2600 soon, and I heard that it could also be used as a flash cart for the system. How would I go about doing this? Is there a tutorial available for setting this up? Does it only work with Supercharger games, or can cartridge games be converted into the Supercharger format?
  18. I am really anxious to see some tech demos for what the expansion module can do! I'm so glad I chose to get a 7800, especially with all the cool stuff coming out for it.
  19. The gameplay style has been decided to be similar to Zelda, which is the same basic style as Midnight Mutants. So it would be either the 2nd, or the 0th, depending if you call Zelda an RPG. So it's not gonna be turn based a la Final Fantasy? Thats a shame I would have loved a nice turn-based JRPG for the 7800. There were too many 8/16-bit Zelda clones anyway, and something like Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior would be a very new concept on such an arcade port-centric console as this. I need a game I can really sink my teeth into for my 7800, and a JRPG sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Also, we don't mind if you take your time with other test projects first; the more homebrew and homebrew developers a system gets, the better, so just do the best you can, and take it slowly.
  20. 7800 Super Game Module. It just sounds very "Atari", if you know what I mean.
  21. Have you looked on the front right next to the joystick ports? ...If there was an "embarrassed" smiley for this forum, I would definitely be using it right about now.
  22. Difficulty switches? The 7800 has difficulty switches? I haven't found them yet.
  23. I just got tower Toppler today for the 7800, but I am having a weird problem when I try to play it. I get past the title screen, but but when I try to start a level, as soon as the submarine drop the frog-thing off, it immediately sends me to the next level, before I can even move. It keeps doing this in an indefinite loop, even after the end level. Is there any way to get this to stop?
