So this one you turned on and did the self test. You are correct. This one, you have the power supply, are trying to sell, but for some reason, did not test? You are correct. The truth is, I was able to test the sound and the keyboard, and they checked out OK. Then I was messing with a control in the back of my monitor, and I screwed something up and lost the picture; so I could NOT do the ROM and RAM test. This one, you know to be non-functional, when you tried it with a 130XE power supply? Or you never tried it? If a power supply was sourced elsewhere, it would still be non-operating??? Something is fried in this machine; it does not work. I acquired it some time back with a box of stuff but had not checked into its condition until now. Pics would likely help you a lot. It's **extrememly** difficult to muster an offer on stuff without pics and testing for condition in very certain terms. I apologize for the shortage of info. and not including pictures. I would be happy to include some; the post seemed already so lengthy, I just decided to wait and see what people would want. If it's acceptable to upload them, I have pictures of all the hardware items at this point; and if you need to see pictures of software items too, let me know. - AlanK

My love affair with the Atari 8-bit computer began in 1982. It was my introduction to home computers and programming, and I have loved every minute of it.
