I'll put up some of the more obscure ones, since everyone knows that the Nintendo first party stuff is almost all good:
Baseball Stars
Kickle Cubicle
Willow
River City Ransom
Blaster Master
All Three Ninja Gaiden games
Castlevania Trilogy (not obscure, but they are still awesome.)
Goonies 2
Dragon Warrior games
Rygar
Contra
Section Z
Trojan
Athena
Zanac (excellent shooter)
Gun.Smoke (also a good shooter)
Star Soldier
I've got nearly 500 games in my NES collection...there's a TON of good stuff out there.

Activision carts fit fine, if a little snug. It's the Imagic ones that don't fit a t all.
-
I've got them all...
-
Besides homebrews, I believe the last 2600 cart to come out officially was in 1986 (Solaris).

WOW! You got a great deal! $20 Canadian is like $15 US...

Night Trap

Holy Good God! MUST HAVE A CUTTLE CART 2!!!!!! Order placed!
-
You can also get Master System Convertors for the Genesis for next to nothing. I just picked one up for $10.

I love mine, for what that's worth. The joystick is a little stiff, more so than a normal Comp Pro, but once you get used to it, it's cool!

I need one or two joysticks for my Bally Astrocade. Anyone got some they'd like to part with?

I once played Laser Blast from Activision on my 2600 for about 7 hours straight. Man that was soooooooooo boring. It's virtually impossible to lose in that game unless you're fooling around.I did that too, so I could get the patch. I remember finally getting the high score, and then I couldn't figure out how to take the stupid picture of the screen.
My longest gaming session had to be when I played through Shadowrun for the Genesis straight through when I was in college. I'm not sure how long I was there, but I skipped all of my classes. I also had a gigantic session of Coach K College Basketball for the Genesis, but that was mainly because the entire Indiana University basketball team decided to come into by dorm room so they could play as themselves. I wanted to get some sleep, but they just wouldn't leave!

I have a Channel F now, just for completeness' sake. It's not a great system. Better than the RCA Studio II, though.

The Flashback controllers won't work on the 2600 or 7800. Even though the connector is the same, the innards are quite different.

Read the questions people have asked him...hilarious.

I think the "fanboy" stuff started with the VCS vs. Intellivision. (Probably due to the Inty's TV ads.)
-
Funny thing is that usually there is not going to be a problem with carts, except for dirt. What an idiot.
-
Spacecadet, I think it's only being offered on fixed price listings, not on actual auctions, so a situation like you describe can't happen. Actual auctions (whether there is a Buy It Now or not) will stay the same. It is only the "Buy It Now" ONLY listings that are changing.

That's the second time this week I've seen a Planet Smashers for over $250.
I know it's rare...but come on!

I agree with Ralph. And make sure they specify HOW it's going to be shipped (UPS, Priority Mail, Media Mail, etc.).
-
The Colecovision was described as "tested and working". If it doesn't work, you should request at least a partial refund from the seller. Ditto for the 2600 Jr.Yes, I did that already. The person who sold me the Jr. has offered to get me another one. We'll see what happens.

It's available for the Lynx, and I believe the GBC. The Lynx version is awesome!

SMS--Slow, choppy gameplay.Xbox--Their small handful of exclusives are not enough to redeem this system for me.
Channel F--Minus the controllers, I can't think about anything good about this system.
RCA Studio II--This is at the top of my WTF were they thinking list.
CD32
CD-I
CDTV
32X
Sega CD
I agree with some of those...but there's a few head-scratchers on that list....
The 32x and Sega CD get a bad rep because they shouldn't have been made (both led to Sega losing consumer confidence), but they both have some good games. The 32x version of Mortal Kombat II is the best out there, with the exception of the Midway Arcade Treasures collection. The primary knock against the 32x is that the games are just enhanced Genesis games, but they are good enhanced Genesis games. And I dare you to play Sonic CD, Lunar, Flink, and Popful Mail and still say that the Sega CD sucks.
I definitely agree about the RCA Studio II, CD-i, and the two Amiga systems though. Bad ideas, badly executed.
I'm not commenting on the Xbox comment, Sony fanboy

The second one (for the XEGS), I knew was a little suspicious. But the others looked perfectly fine. (The O2 auction was earlier...and it did work for a while.)[/url]

I've been buying a few items from eBay lately, and I've had a lot of problems. In the past month alone, I have had:
-An O2 with a broken controller
-A 7800 with a bad power supply
-A Colecovision with no sound
-An XEGS that didn't work at all
And now a 2600 Jr. which will only display in B&W. Anyone else had these kinds of problems? Is this common, or am I just getting jacked around?

PSX - Original large game cases

Interesting story about the longbox PSX games. Retailers were afraid that if they packaged them in regular jewel cases that the games would be easily stolen (and harder to see from a marketing standpoint) so Sony was forced to use those at first. They couldn't get a large enough supply for launch, so they actually had to go to SEGA to get enough.
