  1. Yes - just imagine (if you can stand to), a Dreamcast sequel to GH, still in 2D with multiple planes. Daaaaaaang.
  2. Keeping my VS, and selling my original White / Red Evercade along with most of my carts. System is in perfect working order, very lightly used (don't travel much and was an early adopter to the VS, so it hasn't logged a ton of hours). Love, LOVE this little guy, just don't have the time to get him his regular exercise Technos Arcade 1 Intellivision Collection 2 Piko Interactive Collection 1 Namco Museum Collection 1 Data East Collection 1 Atari Lynx Collection 1 (signed by Carl Forhan) Evercade comes with original Box, all games are CIB and adult owned / non smoking home. Also throwing in the official Evercade carry case https://songbird-productions.com/product/evercade-carry-case/ Asking $125 for the whole enchilada including shipping, would like to sell this all as one package (but if I get no takers in a week or two I'll see about breaking it up). Thanks all!
  3. Hey, thanks for looking! If you need to see my Feedback, look under my former username, Curious Sofa Offering a 10% discount to any AtariAge Subscriber as always - support the site peeps! Very lightly used 5200, not sure why I bought it as I already have a working 2-port I think I just couldn't resist as it was so clean. But now it's just sitting in its box. Both controllers tested yesterday and WORK to my great surprise All directions, fire buttons, and Start tested (gotta press kind of hard but still...). More pics attached. Would very, very much prefer to sell somewhere somewhat locally to Cedar Rapids / Iowa City, IA, but can ship if no one close has serious interest. $250 local pick up, $290 shipped. This is a Marvel vs Capcom 3 Xbox 360 / PC Arcade stick. It's simply fantastic Box is a bit damaged on the left flap, but it is signed by MvsC3 superstar player NY Chris G, and the arcade stick is adult owned / no scratches / lightly used / in great, great shape. $135 shipped, $110 local pick up. Thanks for looking!
  4. Apologies if I just failed to read a post somewhere...but what's up with the Deluxe versions? I looked at the A1up site about them and it's vague... " Get over here! Unpack all the Fatalities you remember and get ready to hear “FINISH HIM!” Arcade1Up is back with Mortal Kombat Deluxe Edition. With 14 classic games, including 4 different Mortal Kombat versions, you’ve got yourself hours of fighting fun. The Deluxe Edition crisp 17" LCD brings all the visual details to life; with a real-feel joystick and buttons, and integrated dual speakers to make this a perfect at home arcade game experience. The sleek, single cabinet design and lit marquee give it an impressive look that would add character and class to any room in the house. The faux front coin door provides that authentic retro look, that will have you instinctively searching your pockets for quarters. " So like...this is below the PRO series, but above the regular series then? It's got no riser but height is integrated, which is good I guess. And it has the molded coin doors. But...no SuzoHapp or Sanwa controls? Like, just trying to figure out the features.
  5. Couldn't agree more, GL! I like every single thing about the appearance of the original better than the suppository model. It's got flair (lol), but not Jin disguised as a 80's Camaro flair.
  6. though I'm not a KI person, I LOVE that they've got SuzoHapp for this. That's a huge plus point. I like Sanwa too, but prefer SuzoHapp generally, very American Arcade feel.
  7. STILL crazy about Streets of Rage 4. :)  Playing through now with Estel, she is just freaking awesome.  What a great sequel to an already storied franchise.

    1. digdugnate

      digdugnate

The game is fantastic absolutely!  I really enjoyed playing SoR4 Shiva and SoR1 Blaze.  I keep meaning to pick the game back up.

  8. Considering selling my Atari Legacy Tempest machine, complete with Riser, assembled, Cedar Rapids Iowa area, wouldn't ask a ton for it, played only a few times due to lack of gaming time. Pics shall be posted if there's any interest. Thinking $270 (looks like it's currently $450 at Best Buy). Let me know if interested, trying here first before hitting the Marketplace / BuySellTrade forum. Also holy sh1t, Terminator is $299....oh that's tempting. But...one game?? Don't know if I can justify the space for that...
  9. Ditto...just hoping for a positive forward movement update of any sort. Don't leave us hanging, Ed!
  10. The Kingdom Rush series is on deep discount, I think the original game is $2.49, hard to beat. Also Some Nintendo Arcade Archives games are FINALLY on sale, picked up Donkey Kong 3 and Mario Bros for a bit under $6.
  11. Picked up the DL version for Switch yesterday, watched through most of the videos, some absolutely terrific and informative stuff there. I am reasonably well versed (or am I??) on Atari History, but did not know there were so many women who'd designed groundbreaking arcade games and others. I knew about Carol Shaw (River Raid) and Betty Ryan (Quantum), but didn't know about several others so this was a good education for me. Agree with @digdugnate above that I definitely had my "why isn't xxxx on here" thoughts (Alien Brigade!!), but really the selection is for the most part excellent. Great to play an arcade port of Food Fight with the analog controls; unfortunately made me realize my pro controller drifts to the left which I'd not realized before. Need to try out the new games too, sounds like some really excellent work there. Love that there are unlockables, and I think the menu and navigation is well done. Only one actual significant complaint apart from again "Alien Brigade!!! Come on!" - I wish you could make a favorites list. With so many titles it would sure be more convenient to have a top 5 or 10. Ok and a complaint on the "I'm an idiot" front, I paid $40 for the DL and should have just spent the extra $10 for the steelbook, just for that super sweet poster and case. If anyone wants to sell me their poster for a somewhat reasonable price, please PM me.
  12. Time Crisis, very nice! Now where my Virtua Cop and House of the Dead at?????!!!!!????? (and Carnevil)
  13. Still available, and I'm still torn. I would be buying this almost entirely for the purpose of playing Shining Force CD from my couch (have the game but my Sega CD memory is shot, making it unplayable without saves). And of course I like the form factor too, and the Fantasy Zone remake is nice. But it's hard to rationalize $135 with shipping for a game you already have, might not play all that often, etc. I already have an Analogue SG jailbroken so basically all the other titles I already have in 1080p (but haven't snagged a TerraOnion MegaSG yet, which also would solve the problem, but it's both hard to get and expensive). Watched the GameSack review, very thorough, I would call his verdict middling.
  14. Loved this on GameCube back when, went for this sale. Found that I had a lingering $4 credit from a prior purchase, big time win, RE IV for $6. Yussssss.
  15. Terminator at $400 from Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/arcade1up-terminator-arcade/6483270.p?skuId=6483270 Back to seriously considering the MKII Midway. What are the negatives to it? Played one at a local shop that had it put together and was actually impressed, at least in the short term, with the monitor and controls.
  16. Just throwing out there that Art of Rally on Switch is on sale now for $15, and Children of Morta has a free demo. Good stuff, thanks for the recommendations!
  17. Got to agree. If you put -1 and BM in an arcade, almost no matter what games, my money is on -1. No video tape submissions with glitchy video allowed (even if it's hand delivered by a sweet lady who likes Qbert).
  18. I agree... like... how did these people come into the money they blew away like a snowflake on the wind? This is next to their BitCoinz and IDK, a warehouse full of TP and horse de-wormer?
  19. Under Defeat looks incredible - is that available as a game disc only, or can you buy the image? I mostly use an SD reader modded DC at this point for wear and tear reasons. I also have my regular DC but no Retrotink yet... Also need to look at Border Down, Sega Lord X raved about it and got me interested with a video he just released.
  20. From your May post, -1... "The law firm representing Billy in the case asked the court for $226,014.96 for handling TG's anti-Slapp motion which was denied. The court approved only $598.96 of that $226,014.96 amount, which was for actual costs (e.g. court filing fees)." I mean, what is a better encapsulation of how this is going than that?? I can't believe this is still dragging on.
  21. Same!! Yes I am looking very hard at Arcade Racing Legends and The Textorcist, might have to grab those. Had the most fun so far today with Power Stone. Enjoyed MvsC2, Hydro Thunder (heh), Plasma Sword, Capcom Vs SNK, and some Cannon Spike. DC was really all about the arcade action (while arguably the zeitgeist was going in favor of long, couch type games), and that's where I grew my love of gaming.
  22. Took the day mostly off to play DC Thinking a few rounds of MvsC2, Speed Devils, Hydro Thunder, Plasma Sword, and maybe some Typing OTD. And of course...got to get in at least SOME Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, VF3, and Capcom Vs SNK too. 9 9 99 Power Stone 2.jfif
  23. Another solution for AtariXP might be to offer to send replacements to anyone who bought one, free of charge (cart and reprinted manual maybe? Maybe no one cares about the manual...). And for those who are willing to self-fix and don't need an extra cart, a gift card of some significant value? A patch? Just offer them something to offset the expense of sending a new cart to them, for those willing. John Hancock released a great video that made the swap look very easy, but of course he has been working with this stuff for ages and is MUCH more competent than man of us at it. I personally can break nearly anything, I somehow screwed up modding an OG Xbox, which from the sounds of things is a pretty impressive feat. So people shouldn't be expected to do anysuch thing. But for those who are and who would have no use at all for a replacement cartridge, give them something of actual value (partial refund? Gift Cert? IDK) for their efforts.
