    I just spent 30 minutes troubleshooting my nephew's Wii remotes before determining that the wireless receiver must be bad (on all three remotes, only the buttons work, and I'm using new batteries). This is one of many reasons I stick to the classics; I never have to put up with this crap with my vintage systems. Just plug in, and go!

      Have to disagree. I have both Wii models, and both are well made.

      Screen not working, "jailbars" on screen, and no audio from the speaker. Should be an easy fix.

      I don't know anyone who does it regularly, but I fixed three of mine perfectly if you need someone.
