What is the atari hardware in the back of this picture?
MrJimbo replied to dustfilledhobo's topic in Atari 2600
They were indeed made for multiple cartridge-based systems (NES, SNES, Genesis, MasterSystem). The multi-game changers were especially prevalent in store demonstration units (push a button to select the game you are playing). I do not recall the manufacturers though. -

Halo for the 2600 Released at CGE! Download the game here!
MrJimbo replied to Albert's topic in Atari 2600
Ed, Can I add Halo 2600 to my website so that is playable online? Thanks -
The Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man (albeit a bad translation) is responsible for hundreds of thousands of sales of the unit. Arguably, Pac-Man for the Atari 2600 version helped solidify Atari 2600's iconic status. I remember when Pac-Man came out for the Atari. I was 10. I didn't care that the translation was bad; I just thought it was awesome that I could pay Pac-Man at home!

Looks like there is an Odyssey2 for sale on ShopGoodWill.com http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Vintage--Odyssey-2-Game-System-6518729.html Based on this, it looks like they take items that would have broader appeal to more than just a local area and make items available online.
