I like the idea of a good version and the original version.\ I can live with the idea of the game on a collection cart. I also think a ROM release would be fine. But I just think that this should be released in-full. (And it is funny about Flappy Birds. The first developer who did a clone for WiiU -- as a 99-cent download -- was basically shamed to the point he has stopped developing for the console. We are the bad of crazies who paid $55 for the same privilege)

We have started to hit the saturation point with pointless ideas for Intellivision. There needs to be a gameplay hook. The original was satire. Copying satire has no significance.

This looks interesting. I wonder how it could be made to work on hardware. Maybe it could be a demo inlcuded with the LTO. That would make me buy another loading cart. Or I wonder if two or three of these could efforts could be placed together on a cart (or just one, if that is all that is possible). I guess I am a purist and have not done much with emulation, compared to running games on e hardware.

I will poke around over the holidays and see what I can find. Anything that will get you back in the 7800 cart business sooner. Thanks for all the work you do. Happy Holidays.

What is the ETA for restocking of the two new 7800 titles? I didn't want to order for Xmas since I would not get a chance to play -- so I wanted to give others a chance. But I do want to get the games since they look really good. (Plus it will give me a chance to see if there are any other games I need).

After raiding this, it sounds like I need to get the 2007 4-Tris release.

I need the manual variation for auto racing. I also need the Electric Co. Math variation. My fave ROM variant is the timer version of Astrosmash.

Making a special show edition of a game also available (or made available) in other ways is fine. Making a special snow game that is not available elsewhere in another way becomes a lose-lose. I have walkways felt this way since it started with Ms. Space Fury for the Colecovision at CGE2K1. And I was not silent about anow I felt at Philly Clasic that year (and yes, I got a show version of 4-Tris that was and was again made available in different ways). What complicates factors with Intellivision is that there are more people taking the compliant route to collecting than in other systems where it is impossible. So there is the potential for a lot more heartache. Personally, I am hoping for a Blix-FUBAR combo game in 2017. Now we just have to make it happen.

I am not aware of GDG working on previous Flashbacks ... but that does not mean it has not. And GDG does have a history of doing short runs -- without strong reaction. For example, 7800 Super Cobra was posted for quite a while before it sold out.

Has anyone seen a Flashback unit yet at a Dollar General? I plan to get one there for the "special game" -- which is much more meaningful for Colecovision than the Intellivision.

This could be combined with a clean-up version of FUBAR (another MIchael Hayes game which has not been released) into a two-game cart for a CIB release. Someone will need to do that in 2017. Also, that person/entity will need to do more than 30 copies. I know GDG likes those short runs -- but I don't think it was ready for the crazed following of the couple of hundred Intellivision die-hards who must have it all. .

It is nice to see that the carts appear to have gotten into the hands of people who would appreciate them. To this point, I have not seen one on eBay. Nor have I any ROMs. And barely any images. Looking at how the game plays, it would not be surprising to see someone make another version of Blix and release it more widely between now and 2017.

My guess is that Good Deal Games made its game in its usual batch run (not really realizing how crazy Intellivision collectors are) and then got made an offer it could not refuse from AT_Games. My guess is that this will eventually wknd its way out there somehow. If not now, then in 2017.
