Rybags,
you are right! It does work with your program, sorta, kinda. First off line 50 needs to be goto 30 not 10. After that change it speaks, but not properly, it's kind-of gibberish. You can definitely hear sounds, but they aren't words. Sort of like when you die in Q-bert and he curses at you. Usually the final phenome continues after it pronounces the gibberish until the next word is entered. Putting a "Y" at the end makes the speech stop after the word. I could have sworn that I saw some actual phonetic speech for this machine somewhere, then I remembered the 1400XL telecommunitor cart that I bought came with a photocopied sheet that lists all of the words used on the cart. Here are some samples:
Voice Off = VOYSPA1AWFF
Voice on = VOYSPA1AWN
Normal Screen = NO1RMLLSKREN
Etc. The problem is that while it sounds perfect when the communicator cart does it, the speech is unrecognizable is BASIC. We are missing something. Any ideas?
cheers,
v
Have you tried sending the phenome string in reverse yet?

doing some reading says something about duplicator disk?
Search for "The Pill", "Super Pill" and "Impersonator"...

You have got to be shitting me. It's already had 32 bids, and it's up to $290. I thought I was being overly-extravagant by overstocking on SD-card devices for Atari, but $400 for a damn game cartridge takes the cake.
Yep, those carts with a rarity of 10 can go way over $250 and the 9's over $150...

If there is really that kind of demand, we can make more PC Boards.
Depending on the price, I'd be in for 2 or 3

Hmm, i think made all devices with black button and add 3 more in envelope (grey, red, and yellow). It is very easy to change.
Thank will work
Thanks

Becouse i was busy, drilling enclosures, assembly boards ,etc....Effect: SIDE X65/130xe and 800 xl version with MENU button on top in 3 colours black, grey-white and red, yellow and green also aviable
With my order of 2, I would like 1 with red and the 2nd with green if you get those, otherwise the 2nd can be white...
Thanks,

I knew I'd end up kicking myself in the butt for not buying a 1450 board when they went up...
Anyone got a spare ?

Don't think there's much good games and adventures. #11 is games, #12 is adventures.
Thank you for posting
I'll go through mine and post the working ones, if any...Jay

I can't believe it. So much stuff that I have developed a strong dislike for vintage equipment. Still have to come back on Monday... I'm sooo tired...
See, now if you had more help like I offered, you could've got it all, but noooooooooooooooooooooooo

I have LotsaBytes #11 and #12. They were mostly BASIC games, and I don't know if I even played any of them. One game is "Popcorn" I believe from ANALOG #26.
#11 was "Games", #12 was "Adventures".
If you can make ATR's of those and post them, that would be cool

I have a few disks, but most have failed over the years...

On the road, I have help. Don't worry, im sure there will be tons of - shit!
Yeah, was just hoping to pick something up there, instead of driving to your area later, since I'm only 30 min from alpine

Guess I shoulda got a U-haul yesterday, LOL

-
Leaving now, time for 8 hours of suspense
Well, I offered to help in loading for a few pieces of bounty, but I guess you don't wanna share the wealth, huh?

Grrrrrrrr......

-
I re-arranged the time for pickup - I will personally supervise the heist tomorrow @ high noon.
If you need an extra pair of hands to help load, let me know, "I'll work for A8 hardware/software"

Has anyone seen a collection of ATR's from this PD Library?
They had many games, utils and AMS files for sale back in the 80's, but I havn't seen these anywhere...

sorry guys, fix is ready since 3pm, but not properly named, thus unavalable through that link
use this instead and just browse for the proper one
it was hard coded as x=1289, so it was invisible on some configurations
i'm running 1920x1200, so i haven't noticed ;]
Working on both PC's now
thanks...Jay

@Candle regarding Ultimate1MB ROM Generator
I just tried this on my XP and Win95 PC's and seems that the GUI has a Hard Coded "Start-up Window Position" that is set for too far off the right edge of the screen. On XP, I only see it in the task bar, but on Win95 I can see it Grow/Shrink to the far right of the screen, but since that display is only 1024 x 768, I don't see any visible part of the GUI

Can you change the startup position to "Center Screen" instead?

A Falcon sold here about a week ago for $670.
I'd like one, but for what I'd ever do with it I'd not go over about $150. But near zero chance of ever finding one that cheap.
I bought one locally from a store that was liquidating all their Atari stuff back in '94 for $600, nice to see that they are still holding their value 17 years later

Also got a bunch of A8 carts and floppies, plus a Mega 4...
I like the Falcon since I can use it on a VGA monitor with the adapter and that it has an internal DSP circuit with the external port, but never did find any docs on programming it

Would've been nice to see something done with the AppleTalk port...

I must be missing something, all I can see are Atari800 tar.gz files, not a .apk one?
Pete
1st link has 6 of them...
2nd link -> follow Atari800 2.2.0RC2 and look for "[ Download from this server (786.6Kb) ] "

If it is, then a mod should delete it...
Edit: I reported it, so when a mod gets the message, it will be gone...
Apologies,
