Same here. I had 3.x flashed on mine, but found that it wouldn't work on the 800, so I had to revert back to 2.5... Jay

Might also be the head alignment. I've received two 810's that had the same problem, but after checking/aligning the heads, they worked fine. To check it, I put slight pressure on the head (pushing towards the inner track) while it's trying to boot. If if reads the first track, then I know it's an alignment problem...

Info/Soft 3000 was a text generator program used in some older cable tv starions for their information channel. It scrolled messages on the top and bottom of the screen, plus showed different text in the center. Its big brother, Info/Soft 5000 has some more features... Jay Any chance of a dump? I believe this is the program our local cable station used (in the 80s), and I have been trying for years to find out what it was. I've uploaded a rom image In This Post, just needs a loader now... On the SD Card's root directory, you'll see the "SIO2SD.CFG" file. Rename it to "SIO_2SD.CFG" (too keep as a reference or just delete). Then pop the SD Card back into the Sio2SD and boot your A8... Jay

Can you still boot ATR's from this? Do the buttons still allow you to assign ATR's to different drives? What does the display look like?

Instead of storing a string path, how about keeping a table of the root/parent sector number of the directory?
