  1. Thanks for the replies If only I had HD space or a Memory stick to install Ubuntu again I could use this route, but not at the moment...
  2. Remo, did you compile this yourself? and which program and OS are you using?
  3. Yesterday I used my SDrive Max with an 810 connected to the Incognito 800, stock 1200XL and a stock 130XE all with the same results. SDrive Max is powered by the USB jack through a 5v 2A wallwart and the diode is a 1n914 (same used on my SIO2WiFi which doesn't have an issue when using the 810). I have D1: on the SDrive Max set as Empty, but trying to boot the 810 is a no go. Really don't think it's a hardware issue, but rather a firmware bug... With the SDrive Max powered off, I booted a DOS Disk on the 810 then powered up the SDrive Max (D1: is empty), tried to get a directory listing on D1: and just got an error 138. When D1: is empty it's not really OFF as it should be... Looking into WinAVR and AVR Studio today...
  4. Looks like the diode is covered by the orange shrink tube?
  5. Cool, thank you Not needed at the moment, but it's always good to be prepared
  6. Yep, but the firmware to flash the esp8266 has or hasn't?
  7. Has this been posted yet?
  8. Since the nodeMCU board and your ESP-07 board have the same 12E chip, figured it should. Your USB Programmer just needs a reset switch added to program the ESP-01's...
  9. Okay, to put it in manual Bootstrap mode / flash, try this. 1. Press and hold the Reset button. 2. Slide switch to Program mode. 3. Release Reset Button. This is what I have to do with my programmer board and to put the nodemcu board in manual bootstrap / flash mode. (my step 2 is to press and hold the program button and step 4 would be to release the program button). Then run flasher again...
  10. The one on the bottom is the latest I bought and it does have RTS / CTS lines and is powered by 5 volts, but needs a 3.3 volt level shifter on the data lines. Lenores' is on the top and might have them too, but looks like some soldering is required...
  11. That's what my ESP-01 did after a bad flash. It is possible to recover from that. The nodemcu flasher will put the board in flash mode automatically if it has the circuitry builtin.
  12. And the zimodem firmware for that would be this one: zimodem.ino.nodemcu-3.4.bin
  13. After flashing, did you run your terminal program at 1200 baud and wait 6 seconds for it to display anything? This flasher might be better suited for your board ? nodemcu-flasher-master.zip
  14. Just for reference and for any others that want to flash their ESP-01 with Zimodem using Windows XP and maybe higher, I used this program with these settings: flash_download_tools_v2.4_150924.rar zimodem.ino.generic-3.4.bin I'm now using Express! terminal cartridge. Zimodem connected Confic screen Main menu with no glitches in display
  15. Yep, only a few files were missing, but I think we re-created most of them. The dongle is posted here http://atariage.com/forums/topic/276208-looking-for-commercial-bbs-info/page-4?do=findComment&comment=4011983
  16. When I was buying gear for my 800 back in 2011, I paid $100 each for two 830 modems, now that was way too much Is this yours?
  17. Received my package of 3 yesterday too Thanks again Jurgen for another fine product
  18. Looks right, have you programed it yet?
  19. Wrong type of chip for U1MB, look at this post: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/261147-1088xel-alternative-mother-board-project/page-52?do=findComment&comment=4117963
  20. Also on ebay, I got a deal on Ultima 2 for $20, was only missing the map...
  21. Yep on ebay, the cheaper one was by itself and the other had docs and floppies. Both already had ROMs installed...
