Guess I need to get something like this? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 362015334517

If I push anywhere around the FPGA or on the FPGA, Flash Mem or SDRAM it behaves normally. Yep, tried removing the 40 pin cables too, no change. Been looking for a cold solder joint on the Flash Mem or SDRAM, but nothing jumps out at me.

I PM'd Panos about this yesterday, but I'd thought I'd ask here also for others' input. After I turn the power switch on, the only thing that happens is the 3 LED's light up. If I push down lightly on the main board 2 inches around the FPGA area and turn the power switch on it will boot up. Otherwise no video or sound.. As soon as I release pressure on the board, video goes dark. I've tried on HDMI and VGA... Any ideas / thought on what / where to check???

AtariGeezer replied to MacRorie's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Okay, but how much would a PAL Antic, PAL GTIA and PAL Crystal (upgrade kit) be for us that already have a working 1088 XEL with NTSC chips? -
Same here, ARDIUNO and Display are around $36 on Amazon...

Same one from here?http://atariage.com/forums/topic/266542-unearthed-files-from-alcatraz-bbs/page-2?do=findComment&comment=3784387 -
It could be a bad FDC, I had the same problem with my ATR-8000 as it read fine, but failed formatting/writing...
-
Thanks Paul, I'll look into it...

ATR Tools never used an installer. Saving program settings to the Registry or an ".ini" file is done when closing the program.
-
Count me in for 1 if available...

I have no idea where mine is, still need to organize my books and docs which are in many boxes...
-
Yup, imaged from from my disks, not from an online resource...

Here's an ATR of that from my collection. MAC-65-01.ATR
-
Gotcha, a misinterpretation here on my end. No, dropping an ATR isn't implemented yet, Thought you were referring to files in general... Now on the ToDo List

- 06/13/2018 - Changed SendMessage() to SendNotifyMessage() for Font Display. ATRTools-027f.zip
-
Ahhhh, might have been distracted that day and SendNotifyMessage() may not have beent applied.

Works on remowilliams' Win 10 x64, so it's a crap shoot for now...
-
Then it should work just fine as long as you have an ATR Loaded...
-
Which OS are you using? Drag-n-Drop works from Win95 to XP and I think I checked it on Win 7 too...
-
I've seen other recent Sparta Dos ATR's from other developers that use the same value for the year. A value < 100 = 19xx, 20xx with be 100+... What OS are you using? Dag-n-Drop has been implemented. To Export a file, Right-Click on it and choose Extract. Adding a Time Stamp on Extracted files is doable, but what about DOS's that don't have a Time Stamp like Sparta Dos? Make them using a date from 1985?

I'll take a look, it was working, but there is a few steps involved...
