  1. Yep, thats exactly how it works. Once you go back and exit again, it will create a new save point, overwriting the first (You don't get the option of multiple save states in other words, just the last one).
Wow, that's great. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!

that´s pretty nice, i´d love to play through Bonk, and now it´s doable for me!

  2. I camped out with a buddy waiting for these. Set up the tent at around 2 am Friday morning. it was really cold and was drizzling. He walked over to the 24 hr McD's and grabbed some hot cocoa for us. There was no line behind us and nobody waiting in cars but it was really intense. Door opened at 6 am and the mad rush to the door was insane. I pushed him into the outdoor table, jacked him pretty good but just as I got to the counter, Bam, I hit the floor. My buddy flew in after me I guess and tripped me. Oh well. Being number 1 and 2 in line guaranteed us our games anyways so it was all good. I hope next time some sorta ticket or preorder is put in place to stop the mess and confusion.

Best part......we got outta BK quick enough to hit the grand opening of the new Walgreens. That was a riot. I'll post some picks later.

If any of you are looking for the BK games, good luck. these things are sold out. Heard the next shipment is this week, about 200,000 more. I know the demand is great but just be patient, don't bid on ones on ebay for people looking to make a quick profit, those bastards.

  3. Just a follow up to this story, a few years later. I never found a single Atari game there, the entire two weeks, in fact I never found a single person who knew what the Atari was. Strange, I know. So where does everyone get those wonderful German games?

These days it really all goes to eBay. I probably find a few NES or SMS games every half a year at a flea market, but in the wild you only find PC, Playstation and GBA games. You know, they're not ULTRA-RARE stuff, like Atari :ponder:

when i started buying atari stuff 5 or 6 years ago, the fleamarkets still had plenty of atari carts... since 2 or 3 years it really dries up, i haven´t found a single cart in the wild this year and guess what: next year won´t be better...

  4. At the very end Bowser is standing on a pole surrounded by lava. You need to quickly rock him back and forth so he'll lose his balance and fall. It's tough.

    That help?

well, i tried that but i drown in the lava before Bowser falls...

any tricks? or do i just have to try harder?

    thanks!

ok - i just finished the game

    just had to try harder...

    nice game!

  5. It was somewhat interesting, untill I got to the 6th

page. I then realized how completly full of shit he was.

    how's that?

There is a paragraph where he is describing the gui on the wii being very

similar to the gui on the gba movie player. He starts comparing the abilities

of the psp and the gba sp with the gba movie players ability to play movies,

music, and emulate nintendo and genesis games while psp owners look down

    at their system and cry.

However, what I do have an issue with is that he states as fact that he can

and does play both nes and genesis games from the gba movie player.

First, there is no genesis emulator for the gba and probably will never be

due to the fact that the gba is just slightly more powerful than the genesis.

Everyone I have shown my GBA MP to instantly fell in love with it. I put a part of Lord of the Rings on there and they go, “OMG!!! Your DS is playing movies!” Then they look at their PSPs and cry. They look on in amazement how the DS is shoved in my back pocket and I’m using it as a music player. But the thing that always seals the deal with them instantly importing the GBA MP is the emulation capabilities. The worst thing about emulation has always been the controllers. But you are using the Gameboy Advance or DS’s buttons and D-pad which are the quality we know and love. After playing Guardian Legend, Blaster Master, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Brothers 3, and practically any other game, they swear it is the coolest thing ever. They love the idea of a portable Dragon Warrior (or any of its sequels). Then they see it can play all the original Gameboy games as well. “It is portable nirvana,” one person said. But after looking at these Wii Channels, I now reply, “No, it is the third incarnation of the DS. Wait and see.”

When someone deliberately spouts such obviously false information and claims

it to be the truth. It's kinda hard for me to belive that they're giving an unbiased

opinion without the bullshit detector in my head ringing off the hook.

well, he´s talking about the DS and there actually is a working GENESIS emu for the DS
