Is this Edtris one of the first 50? If so what is your number on the start up screen?

I own #41 and it starts up and says #0041 so it would be something along those lines at the start screen.

it says "217" on the title screen... if i recall correctly

  2. The PAL TIA has a different pinout than the NTSC TIA.  Being that 8bitdomain is in Dallas Texas I bet the AV Mod is for the NTSC Atari.

does anyone know if i can simply swap my PAL TIA with an NTSC one to make the Mod work?

And if so... where can i get NTSC TIAs???

  3. If he's planning on reselling it then I'd buy it just to dispell the myths of what it really is. Maybe I could figure it out on my own, maybe with help of people here. Eitherway I'd love to see it.

    try to contact the buyer!

i´d also love to see what that thing really is...

  4. That kind of surprised me to hear JC Penny was even going to carry the system, let alone rake someone over the coals to buy it from them. Well, hat's off to them, let's gouge another bunch of customers who REALLY want one of these for their kids for Christmas!

can´t see the problem... nobody is forced to buy that thing for 799$...

  5. I just checked the feedback of the seller of the Unimex adapter and noticed that the buyer of this thing gave him a POSITIVE feedback stating "Alles bestens und wie beschrieben, ausgezeichneter Seller, gerne wieder! AAA" (everything is OK and as described, great seller, will buy anytime from him! AAA)

Unfortunatly the buyer doesn´t react at my emails asking him what the adapter does...

nevertheless he seems to like the unit he bought for 141€ :-o
