Oh, I forgot about Dreadnaught Factor on the 5200! I love that one too!

Other than H.E.R.O. it would definitely be Megamania. For me, once I plug it in, it's always turns into a "just one more time" game that I'll play for at least a half hour trying to get a new high score.

It's too bad about the Custer's Revenge characters. Part of the charm of the old Atari games is that it required a bit of imagination to visualize what the pixelated sprites were supposed to represent. Retrory looks well thought out and appears to be of a very high quality of construction. Playing it with friends, commenting on which images were the best representations, which were the toughest to picture, and reminiscing about the games they came from would be fun! However, for me the Custer's Revenge cards would make for very uncomfortable moments. The fact that the characters come from a rape themed game severely tarnishes what would have been a very cute card game.

If they were offered for sale, I would buy the H.E.R.O. action figure for $50 in a heartbeat!

Food Fight is one of my favorites on the 7800! Fun to play and it has catchy sound and music. I always thought Tower Toppler was one of the most visually impressive games on the 7800. The animation is smooth and the underwater bonus stages with parallax scrolling are beautiful!

Toki is a great find! It would be very exciting if this is made available on a cartridge. And I would go ape spit crazy if The Eidolon was every found and released!

Anticipation... under control -
That would be so neat to have a game that used the Star Raiders keypad - - envisioning a really cool keypad overlay! Maybe the ability to use either different combination presses on the 7800 controller second button or mashing buttons on the keypad.

Stay Frosty 2 is amazing! The creativity, the detail and the variety of levels in this game go way beyond my expectations of what's possible on the 2600. And 32 unique levels (that repeat 4 times with an increasing level of difficulty) is mind-blowing! I seriously have to remind myself that I'm playing on the old Atari because this game looks and sounds incredible. The only trouble is this game is kicking my butt! I consider myself relatively good at video games, but I'm seriously having trouble getting very far on this one. Things got tough for me at level 9 and, although this game keeps me coming back for more, I have yet to get past level 10! Thanks Mr. Spice and team for an excellent game!

Stay Frosty 2 doesn't work on six switchers?
jongolo replied to thecrypticodor's topic in Atari 2600
Both my 4-switch Atari and my Colecovision with Atari expansion module work great with this game. For some reason my Junior doesn't work with it, just a scrambled screen. The game is great! Although I think I'm getting rusty, I can't get past screen 10! Eventually I think I'll make it and I can't wait to see the other 18 screens. Currently one of my favorites. Thanks for an excellent game. -

Great to see you back Chronogamer! Your blog is the reason I would check the Atariage blogs. You have been missed! -

Congratulations - To All 100 PMP 30th Anniversary Cart Gift Winners!
jongolo replied to Trebor's topic in Atari 7800
Got mine today! I already have Failsafe, Pac-Man Collection, Moon Cresta and Scramble, and this makes a great addition to my "Decrescenzo" collection. I have the same issues as everyone else seems to have with Moon Cresta (nothing seems to fix the invisible enemy) and Space Invaders (seems to work with shields turned off). Even with the bugs it's awesome, but it would even more awesome if all 8 games worked. It bums me out a bit, but then I just start up Crazy Bricks, Armor Attack II and Meteor Shower. These games all rock! -
