  1. WOW! Now I've got to choose, in which order do I purchase all three?
  2. Sorry, my response is a few weeks late but AWESOME! Thanks! Thanks, not sure if I'm the only AA member from the state, but it's fun to imagine I might be. You're absolutely right about the capit ... but we're pretty small at just over 30,000 people.
  3. I'd have to vote Demon Attack for best. Probably just nostalgia talking; it was the first Imagic game I got and I'd never seen anything as sweet as that chrome box! At the time it came out there was nothing else with graphics that sharp on the Atari, and it was fun to play too. For worst game I choose Fire Fighter. Played it once and could never make myself plug it into the Atari again.
  4. Atari 2600 in 1979 -- Colecovision in 1983 -- NES 1987 and it went on from there! Most exciting moments were when my mom bought that 2600 for my brothers and me, when I bought the NES (I drove 150 miles twice to get that one), and when I bought a Sega Dreamcast on release day (was that 1999?), it blew me away! It seems kindo of dull now, but transfering the Chao back and forth between the VMU and the console back then to play mini Tomagachi style games was mystifying! And as Christmas drew near, the overworld in Sonic Adventure changed; there were Christmas trees and Christmas music, and I believe it was all delivered through the built in modem. Overall the Atari 2600 and the used 5200 I bought later on are still two of my favorite systems!
  5. Anyone else wondering if Armor Attack will be offered for sale without a box? I've got nothing against boxes, I love my 5200 Tempest box. I've been eager to purchase Armor Attack since it was announced but have been hoping for a lower cost version without the box. I'll keep watching for it unless I'm told that it's not in the plan. Oh, and by the way, thank you Atari Age for making these awesome games available!
  6. Pen to check, ready to start writing. Thanks Bob, it's awesome to think that it won't be long before they're ready!
  7. Sooo many good ones, but here it goes: H.E.R.O Solar Fox Escape from the Mindmaster (if I'm allowed to have my Supercharger)
  8. Me too! Atari 2600 Berzerk played great, but without the voice it almost didn't feel like the same game.
  9. I can't wait to get this game! I'm got my fingers crossed that a version without a box will be available. The box is very nice, but for me it's mostly about the games on cartridge. I've got a number of them I plan to buy the moment they come out! I'm looking at you hopefully soon-to-be-released Berzerk/Frenzy and Bentley's Quest cartridges. Thanks for all the great games Bob; Moon Cresta is one of my favorites!
  10. Frenzy, Armour Attack and Bentley are the reason I check Atari Age forums daily! I've got to have each one on cartridge as soon as they become available. It's funny how I anticipate these more than anything on the modern consoles.
  11. Wow, what a surprise! I was having a tough time coming to terms with PacManPlus's 7800 programming retirement. And now, he announces another terrific arcade conversion! What a wonderful surprise. Please sign me up for a copy of this one.
  12. Wow!! The Flashback 4 Deluxe Edition that I ordered in October finally arrived yesterday. At Games kept me in the loop about every month with an email, but I was beginning to wonder if it would ever show. I hooked it up last night and can say I'm quite pleased. The wireless joysticks are awesome and seem to have quite a range. Space Invaders is a dud, way too slow and so easy I got bored before I finished a game. Some of the other games are great though. I enjoyed Polaris, Dodg'em and Circus Atari (even with the delayed reaction of the paddle controller). Best of all was Stellar Track! I've always been a bit of a nut about that one.
  13. Thanks Dutchman2000, that's good to know. I just about wore out the # key on my controllers trying to switch out of one player mode. Not a big deal though, I can still challenge my son to a high score, we just take turns. That must be the error on the box that Albert hinted about.
  14. Can't agree more! This game is incredible! The packaging is awesome, the gameplay is better than I had imagined possible on the 5200! There's something about playing Tempest on an vintage Atari system that can't be beat! I love my Jaguar too, but the 5200 has always been my favorite. I've got kind of a dumb question though. Is it possible to play a two player game? I've hit every button on both of my controllers, but I can't seem to switch the setting to two players. I'd like to pull my teenaged son away from Call of Duty Black Ops II long enough to play some two player Tempest.

    H2

Please add me too, I would also like to purchase one when they are available. Thanks!
  16. Good to hear you seem to like it radiohead! The anticipation is really getting hard to ignore. I still haven't received the Anniversary Edition Flashback 4 that I pre-ordered in October. But I did get an email from Atgames last week letting me know that they now had some ready to ship. They asked me if I still wanted mine and I couldn't type "YES" fast enough.
  17. Anyone else still waiting for theirs to be delivered? I ordered my Deluxe Edition Flashback 4 at the end of October. I'm in Alaska and I normally expect to wait a little longer for shipping. But I'm starting to wonder if Atgames has forgotten me?
  18. Looks like it's moving along quickly. I've got my fingers crossed in hopes that the XM will be ready when this is. This game looks terrific! Please put me down for a cartridge.
  19. Oh my! This looks like the killer app for the XM when it comes out. If you're taking names, please put me on the list for a cartridge. Thanks for all the great work Bob, your games are amazing!

    Get Lost!

Wow, looks great! Please put me down for a cart too.
  21. I almost forgot about this project. A new System X would be awesome! Is there any news on its progress? I imagine Curt is very busy with the 7800 XM, but maybe they're being developed side by side (crossing my fingers).
  22. Hidden rooms! For the longest time I actually prefered the NES version of Commando because I liked it's hidden rooms. I always thought they were absent on the 7800 version. Man, I have to appologize to my Atari!
  23. This is exciting! Thanks for bringing these great games to the 7800! Please put me on the list for a cartridge version.
  24. Game arrived today. Wow! It's the first game I've bought programmed by Bob, and it's so good I must buy more. I'm thinking Pac Man Collection next!
